[h=1]Steam Summer Sale 2016 Dates Revealed[/h]
PayPal has revealed the Steam Summer Sale will begin on June 23. An email from PayPal reads: "Brace yourself. We can exclusively reveal that the Steam summer sale will go live on 23rd June. Now you know when it's going to happen, you can get ready for the savings."

In the past, PayPal has leaked the dates for Steam's autumn and winter sales. This year, it has changed season once again, however it seems to be in a more official capacity this time.
There's no end date listed, but the summer sale usually lasts for over a week.
The next question will be whether there's a secret to unlock during the upcoming sale, like there was during the Steam Winter Sale.

Has there been an exact time revealed of the sale?
Also, is there a good site that sells 50$ and higher steam cards for a good price? There was a sale on 50$ cards which were for 40$ last week, and all were sold out in 1 day :/

store always gets updated at 10pm..so thats when the sale will start on June 23rd. As for cards, better to load up your wallet using credit/debit card. $50 cards wont cost you below 5300-5500, at least not from pakistan

Tomorrow is the sale, it always starts on a Thursday (though there is an exception to that in the past). Rumor is that this summer sale is picnic themed, as you can guess from the summer cards anyways.

Official Steam app comes to Windows Phone at last

Authentication for all.

Windows Phone has at last got its official Steam app. "Hold the press," you say. "That'll be big news for all four people with a Windows phone, but why are we talking about apps?" Well, this "initial, limited functionality, release" plugs a substantial gap in Valve's campaign to get everybody using Steam Guard two-factor authentication.

Last year, Valve introduced 'trade holds' to slow down the spate of virtual item theft. Traders using Steam Guard to verify their identity bypass the 15-day hold. Until now, however, there was no mobile authenticator for Windows Phone users, making trading a right hassle.

[h=1]Steam getting native PlayStation 4 controller support[/h]

[h=2]Your DualShock 4 will soon be ‘nice and reliable’[/h]

Valve is bringing native support for Sony’s DualShock 4 controller to Steam, Valve’s Jeff Bellinghausen announced at Steam Dev Days today. In a transcript of Bellinghausen’s talk posted to Gamasutra, the developer talked about the benefits of supporting the PlayStation 4 controller via the Steam Controller API.
“Believe it or not, when you use the PS4 Controller through the Steam API, it’s exactly the same as a Steam Controller,” Bellinghausen said. “You make the exact same API calls, you only get actions, not inputs, and the Steam API takes care of everything.”
That’s good news for PC gamers who might already be using a PS4 controller on PC, but need third-party applications like Joy2Key to emulate keyboard input or DS4Windows to emulate an Xbox 360 controller.
Bellinghausen noted that the DualShock 4 has “a lot of overlapping functionality with the Steam Controller,” thanks to the PS4 gamepad’s gyro and touchpad features.

“Also, existing native support for the PS4 controller on the PC is a bit weak; in this case Steam itself is communicating directly with the device so everything that’s nice and reliable,” Bellinghausen said.
Valve plans to support other controllers in the future, Bellinghausen said.
