this was the first steam sales in last 15 years i guess, before when steam was called Sierra and only had valve games. i have not bought anything. Because of load shedding and DSL disconnects.
i have not been able to play company of heroes 2 for a long time which i deeply regret daily :-(

its usually spring but valve can choose to skip it..only summer, halloween and winter sales are a sure shot. So if spring sale does happen it will be in april. Pointless though because summer and winter are the real sales and if you couldnt find anything in this winter sale, you wont find it

Aww man, shouldve bought something this sale then. Hey guys, has anyone of you encountered this error while adding cash to your wallet during your time on steam so far?
"An Unexpected Error has occurred. Your Purchase has not been completed."
I've getting this for a week. Tried different things that steam support and other people have mentioned but still it persists. Really getting tired of this shit.
Any suggestions about fixing it?

If you have saved your Credit card details. Then remove them and add again. It worked for me.
I did try that, didn't work.
So Steam finally replied after a week or so. Hopefully they'll fix it for me.
Steam support is notorious for being exceptionally slow and being completely unhelpful. I suggest in the meantime you search for other ways to add funds.
also check gamersgate.com their games are for steam mostly but some times at low price than steam.

Cheaper, Multiplayer-Only Version Of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Now On Steam For A Limited-Time
For a limited time, Activision is offering a multiplayer-only version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to Steam users for a reduced price.
The “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Starter Pack” costs $14.99 USD and gives buyers access to “Public Ranked Multiplayer matches and features including Weapon Paint Shop, Gunsmith, Arena, Freerun, Theater, and the Black Market,” according to the Steam page.
Starter Pack players will still be able to purchase COD Points and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass, but will only get access to the multiplayer maps and multiplayer Supply Drops — not the zombies content. They’re also not restricted from partying up with friends who own the full game, though some limitations to Custom Games, Zombies, or Campaign will apply. An icon designating ownership of the Starter Pack will appear over players’ names in-game as well.
Alternatively, Starter Pack owners can upgrade at any time to a full version of the game with the price paid for the Starter Pack automatically deducted from the price of the full game or Digital Deluxe Edition. All progress, including COD Points, will carry over to the full game.
Here’s everything the Starter Pack does not include:
Zombies game mode
Campaign game mode
Ability to play in Multiplayer custom games
Ability to Prestige (your level will be capped at 55 in the Starter Pack) Access to mod tools or modded content (once released)
Access to unranked server browser (once released)
Ability to Fresh Start your profile
The ability to access Dead Ops Arcade II and Nightmares mode

Starting and end dates for this year’s Steam Summer Sale have yet to be officially announced, but thanks to one Reddit user, we may already have them.
Redditor MrFreemanBBQ showed a screenshot of supposedly confidential communication from Valve that shows (in Russian) the Summer Sale is due to kick off June 23, and will go on through July 4.
The image even shows the starting time of 9:45am Pacific, and end time of 10:00am Pacific. Here it is:

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying. -
