^ Thank you.

I usually don't test colognes before I buy them and strangely I end up pretty satisfied, and even stranger...I actualy make worse decisions when I smell cologne in stores lol.

So this time I have decided to invest in a bunch of spray vials that I can wear 2-3 times.

Here are the samples I have ordered and will be writing brief reviews for them. (They won't ship till at least 6 days from now :( so it won't be too soon. )

Excellent choices. Hail King Aventus. While you're at it, order samples of Millesime Imperial by Creed and Green Irish Tweed by Creed. BTW Where did you order them from. Try surrendertochance.com. You may get better prices.

Goes for around 24-30K in Lahore and around $200-$240 internationally. I'd be careful

I ordered them from decantshop.com I really liked how that website was set-up compared to the others. I did look at surrendertochance and seems like a decent enough website. Some of the stuff is about on average .50-.80 cents cheaper, that adds up. You are right.

However, the prices posted above don't reflect the 15% discount I got on decantshop.

To be honest, I was not even going to order Aventus since I thought what is the point? The chances of me buying a decent sized bottle of it for $250+ in the next 6 months are very slim. A full size bottle is just kinda expensive for me right now. But I was so curious about the hype and I had to smell a sample at least! I have heard great things about GIT as well. I'll get some of that as well.

I am as much as curious as you are. I will certainly let you know.

14K for Green Irish is not bad at all. From my usual website the 2.5oz is listed as $140. That is about 14K, last I checked. Surprised that local markets are decently priced for semi-niche scents.

Hello guys, i didn't know untill this thread that our young generation is so much into scents, suddenly i feel out of the world [emoji15]

I need to buy perfume today and i would be glad if you guys can give me some advice.

Here are my preferences

- The perfume or Cologne should be in 10k range and no way above it
- The scent should be long lasting since my work hours are 10+ hours and i want it to last through that time
- The scent should be light since i am allergic to strong scents, if anyone is allergic to scents can share the experience.
- I want it to be my signature perfume, i don't have a problem with it being common since not many guys would invest 10k in perfume.
- Last but not the least, it should be ladies magnet. I want to get compliment from the girls, i dont care about boys.

Thanks.

I don't trust these online shops here and the price mentioned here is too cheap as issey miyake colognes usually start from 5k around for a regular bottle. Anyways if you have decided to go for issey miyake i would suggest to go for l'eau d'issey only. No sport homo bullshit.

The Dolmen wala sells real stuff that's why he charges for it. Never buy online from these pakistani vendors.. they sell copies and they tell you it's real.

Also check park towers there are two perfume shops there relatively cheaper but genuine

Big Rock Candy Mountain.
Samples finally came in! I have only tried 3 of them so far…

Bleu De Chanel:

Think of the ideal men’s cologne and how it smells. This is it. Does it smell good? Yes, no doubt it does. Is it interesting? No.

Like I said, smells like a generic men’s cologne. This will make you smell like you just got a haircut, shaved and took a nice shower. Simply put, if clean smelled like something it would smell like bleu de Chanel. It smells refreshing, has an energized vibe to it. I can see this as someone’s signature smell since this fragrance also can work anywhere, any age, and any weather. It is extremely versatile. I can see this fitting perfectly for someone with an office type job where they have a dress code…smells safe, so it won’t offend anybody either. It lasts well too, I get about 7 hours. Projection seems great!
However, I honestly just don’t think it is worthy of the Chanel name. Reminds me of the Cool water/Curve/Chrome category even though it is of course better quality and much more well-rounded, but still it does not live upto the name.
All in all a good fragrance if it was like $45-60 then I would not feel guilty recommending it, but at $80+ you might want to think twice. But you can’t really go wrong with this one; it’s a safe buy since it isn’t anything unique.
I used this sample extensively (finished it all) so I am pretty sure my opinion will not change with more usage.

Creed Aventus:

This one I’m sure at least a couple of you are interested in, sorry to disappoint but I will write more about this one later. I have only used it once so I can’t really form a complete opinion.

My initial impression? Very disappointed. Perhaps something is wrong with my nose, or the sample or my relative inexperience with the scent. So who am I to judge right? But as far as my opinion regarding my first time with it, I could never fathom spending $180+ on this. Ever. It’s not bad, but it is not something heavenly or something even great. It’s just “nice” and not $200 “nice” either! Good thing? It last a very very long time. Actually smells kinda powdery and fruity, and green. I read online that some of the batches smell smoky. Well I’m not sure what that means, but I’d associate the smell with smoky too. Very smoky. The fruity sweetness is wiped away by the smokiness. Perhaps I got a bad batch. I’ll wear it again soon, and let you guys know.

Gucci Pour Homme II:

Out of the three samples I have tried so far this one is my favorite. Again I have only worn this once but my initial impression is that this scent is really great. It smells unique and good. I really like it. Makes quite the impression. It can be used by any age imo, and would be great for summer, spring, fall and even winter days. Very versatile. This is true signature scent material, something you can wear all the time pretty much. Now the bad stuff? It does not project. It is very mellow and soft so it stays close to you skin. Not strong at all. And does not last long for me either. Lets see if I need to update this review after more usage.
