Pros:
-One of the best open-world games in recent memory.
-Versatile ways of playing the game.
-Gameplay is fun, shooting, melee, and hunting.
-The game looks and runs phenomenally.
-Plenty of side-missions to keep you busy for hours
-The story, although nothing too complexed, keeps it fresh.
-Excellent voice acting.
Cons:
-Underwhelming boss fights.
-A.I repeats the same dialogue way too often, sometimes even consecutively.
9/10
Pros:
-Very good-looking game with various different types of environments.
-Allows for more than one way to play the game.
-Well-designed puzzles.
-Some weapons are really fun to use, such as the bow.
-Some of the places Lara ends up at are really spectacular.
-The new Lara Croft holds her own well.
-A variety of different enemies.
Cons:
-Redundant, predictable and repetitive set-pieces, aspires way too far to be an action-packed adventure.
-Predictable story, events can be foreseen hours ahead of time, and brings barely anything new to the table.
-A.I can behave very irrationally, at times, like throwing dynamite at themselves.
-Game is not optimised well on PC and the controls are clunky when playing with a keyboard.
-Weapons in the game pack little to no punch, with the exception of the bow and Shotgun.
-Underwhelming boss battle.
-Characters in the game are underdeveloped, uninteresting, and it's hard to care about saving them.
-Lara herself isn't the smartest character, at times.
-Much of the story is told through notes and diaries, a lot of time is spent reading it or having it read aloud, either option is time consuming.
-The ending could have been way better.
-Frequent annoying QTEs that take away from the experience.
7.5/10 (A generous score)
Now playing Dishonoured, have to say, I'm REALLY enjoying every bit of that game.
