Introduction and Hype:

I know its still very early for us to start this thread but the wait is worth it, especially since there will be so many new players in the England [Cleverley, Smalling, Walcott, Adam Johnson], Portuguese [Coentrão], German [Ozil, Boateng], , Spanish [Bojan, De Gea] and Italy [Macheda, Balotelli] squad.

Some of these players won't play in the qualification rounds, but many will play during the actual tournament, when they will get a bit older and gain experience through leagues.

EDIT 2012 May: Now that these players have grown up, many of the ones named are going to the Euros. Some are not going to the Euros, instead they have been selected for the Olympics 2012.

The left flower represents the colour of Polish flag - Red and White, while the right flower represents the colour of Ukrainian flag - Blue and Yellow. The middle one represents Spain, the current holder of the cup IMO. :D

And thanks guys :D

I'll try to keep this thread updated with the fixtures and group tables.

BTW, there are normal international friendlies tomorrow too. Like the Mexico vs Ecuador (Chicharito vs Valencia) one.

I wish france doesn't mess this up like they did the WC2010. =/
BTW, France have been down since the past 3 years.

They ranked last in their group in Euro 2008, and ranked last in their group in WC2010 too. I hope they step up their game. Considering the talent thats coming through the youngsters (Obertan, Nasri, Benzema, Gourcuff, Ben Arfa, Gignac), they might qualify and get ahead in the competition once they qualify.

England could be a pretty good team too. They have lots of good wingers (Walcott, Lennon, AJ), but they dont have any good young striker after Rooney. Cleverley could feature in England squad and can play in either Defense or at the wings/MF too (Utility player). Their GK might be one of the best in the world AKA Joe Hart...

Euro is better since its played in Europe at good turfs...

BTW, Spain match is starting at 11:45.
The England match is starting at 12:00.

The teams have been announced:

England team to face Bulgaria tonight: Hart; G Johnson, Dawson, Jagielka, A Cole; Walcott, Milner, Barry, Gerrard; Defoe, Rooney.

A beautiful team. I think they can win the match easily since there is no Lampard. I told you guys before that Gerrard + Lampard = no no. So they'll follow one captain now and that is Gerrard. I think now Capello might have understood that playing one of their best players (Gerrard) on the left wing (unnatural position) will be bad for the team. :) Capello said 2 days ago that Rooney will play upfront on his own. But he is paired with Defoe upfront.

The Central defense is not so good.

EDIT:

:lol: Luxembourg are 3-0 down in just 18 minutes!:lol:

I agree the WC was a suckfest but dont judge the whole game based on one crappy WC. Footy owns all, end of discussion.

Just saw the England match, double pwnage for Spurs since both Defoe and Dawson seem to be out and for quite a while by the looks of it. Johnson scores his first international so good for him. England win 4-0.

Great play by England as far as the score is concerned. I couldn't watch the game, Cable operators removed most of the footie channels. :(
All assists were by our awesome talisman Wayne Rooney :D!!!!

Spain match: 4-0, Torres, Villa, Torres, Silva. Great play :D

Huntelaas's hat-trick in the Netherlands match which they won 5-0.

Oh hell yeah! Corry Evans, United's reserves MF scored in the Ireland match, which they won 1-0.

Fail Blog to France, lost 1-0 to Belarus.
