Sohail Tanvir is crap. I never bought this " wrong arm action" (or was it wrong foot?) rubbish. He got spanked in India and his only successful tour was IPL-1
But then let's try him as well. When you have mediocre test bowlers like Gul, Riaz, Ajmal and Rehman, someone of his calibre won't hurt much now would he?

This squad selection is very important in terms of the upcoming WC. I don't any reason for Yousuf to be included later in the ODI squad if he wasn't in the test team. I guess it would be fair to say that we just saw the last of him The most mind boggling omission is Akmal Sr. At least he deserved his place in the limited overs squad unlike many others

PCB still has no direction whatsoever. May God help us!

Jo bhi select ho . They should be on merit the flat pitches we have here in Pakistan paradise for batsmen like akmal and Malik to score 200 in domestic .
The bowlers who perform are really good one Cause Beh Jaan wicket per wicket leh teh Hain .

Ok so it seems Yousuf was omitted on fitness grounds, not surprisingly I admit. His chances for the WC are bleak nonetheless. The players who perform on this tour are the ones who'll have their names in the finalized WC squad list.
Kamran Akmal has been one of our best limited overs batsman these last few months. He was given clearance directly by the ICC so I doubt the spot-fixing saga could be the reason of his omission :S

Ahmed Shahzad's selection sounds like a good move to me. They should give a chance to the youngster to prove himself. I really liked his batting style in 2009's World T20 cup.
