Finished Vampire Knight.
Well it was and ok anime, the love triangle really was annoying but the last few episodes were good with some tension and a twist and fights. Vampire stuff was good in it.

So First Nagisa dies and I'm simply devastated, I was basically crying out her name just as much as Tomoya lol, but before I could recover from that Ushio dies too and I'm left speechless and super depressed, then I run the final Episode, Now I'm usually against this sort of Deus Ex Machina plot device crap but this time I went like: "YES! YES! FUCK YES!!" ^_^, I've never felt so happy before lol, and it had to happen this time cause leaving it the way it was would've just been tooo cruel, too damn cruel.


Overall it's a fantastic Anime as a whole but the best parts are concentrated in the second half of After Story, the soundtrack was just fantastic as well.I love Clannad. :p

thanks for the recommendation I guess, it was indirect but your posts convinced me that I should watch this anime and I'm so glad that I did.

We all were moved, devasted just like you, this a super-uber fantastic anime
You should watch Code Geass, Fate/Stay/Night and Fate/Zero they all are epic animes..

It's just Fate/Stay night, there's only 1 slash. :p
Also, you should watch the Fate/Stay night movie Unlimited Blade Works, It shows the Unlimited Blade Works route from the VN.

Already seen Code Geasse, I'll give the other a try but which one am I supposed to see first? Fate/Stay night or Fate/Zero?

I cried when Nagisa died. I got so depressed. But then this came ..


Man ... I cried. And not like for some seconds. It was full-on weeping. Them onions were too strong.


The characters, the story, the soundtrack and the ending. What a ride. BTW gotta ask ... I ask everyone when they're done with Clannad ... Favorite of all time now? :)

^^Clannad is definitely on my top 3 Anime of all time, But rite now I wanna say CLANNAD is at the top! :p

And the scene in the tags is one the best in the series, It's when I fell in Love with Ushio ^_^. The Anime gets really good after they all graduate, It's so damn real, I wish people like Nagisa could exist in the real world though. :(

It took me a while to accept Nagisa's death, it's only after Ushio first appeared in the next ep that I accepted that she was actually gone and I've NEVER felt this strongly about the death of a fictional charcter before in my life, like EVER.

I'm really glad that it ended hapilly otherwise I would've been in a state of depression for the next couple of weeks. phew :)

I was mentally disturbed after Nagisa died. I swear, I never thought she'd actually die.

But when she did... Oh my. My entire day was wrecked and I just couldn't wait to get back home and see what happens next. THEN THEY FUCKIN' KILLED USHIO ALSO. Damn, I was having a mental breakdown.

I'm really really happy they used the deus ex machina plot device, otherwise I would have been sad for a very long time.


If you want to watch similar animes, watch Air and Kanon. They both are brilliant!

^^Ushio was doing so well, So for a while I though that meybe there was a silver lining for tomoya after all and I was starting to get over it but then she fell ill and I thought "NO Not AGAIN!, Don't tell me she's gonna die too!!" and then she did, I cursed at Tomoya for taking her out in the cold like that.I didn't even wanna watch the last episode after that, I thought it was just gonna be mourning and that Tomoya would either kill himself or finally leave the city.

^^Yeah I've seen em, the tomoyo chapter was very emotional and the Kyou chapter was just complicated, poor Tomoya lol, I'm gonna watch the movie too, it's already on download actually.

I don't remember why, but I really really hated the movie.

I can't remember why, either it was the voice acting that was changed or the animation style. I didn't even finish watching it. It was the same thing except a different take on the anime.

Nagis's death was such a heat break I wasn't expecting it at all and then when Tomoya takes his responsibilty for Ushio, man this thing kept me on although I did not cry but I was deeply moved, I was like depressed for a week after watching Clannad

Fate/Stay Night was good, haven't watched the Unlimited Blade Works route but Fate/Zero was just pure win and the OST was just shizz (y)

Different Director and Scenario writer, Plus I Imagine it wouldn't be easy to fit all the important events of a 44 episode Anime into a single film.But since I already haz it on my PC now I guess I'll watch it anyways.
