[OT] Official Anime Recommendation/Watching Currently Thread!

Watch it, its great.

Yeah It is a good anime by the looks of it. Unfortunately, I'm a bit reluctant to start it seeing the sort of feeling it gives from the people who already watched it. I like cheerful anime. I'm actually reluctant to start any series for now. I'm only watching movies..

Probably the reason why it's not tagged as a tragedy is 'cause nothing tragic happens at all. The worst thing that happens is and I'll put this under another spoiler tab cause this is probably the biggest spoiler if you're planning on watching Clannad. Don't read it unless you're completely fine with watching the show while knowing everything that happens.

The biggest tragedy I can recall from Clannad was the dream that Tomato or whatever had about how his wife died and then 5 dream years later his daughter dies. Yeah, everything ends up being a dream or an "alternative life" as a Clannad fanboy will surely rush in to defend it. So there you go, that's probably the reason.

Why are you all trying to put Clannad under the tragedy tag? It's a slice of life in purest sense.

I thought it was just weird it did not had one when I read the spoilers, of death and such. It'd make sense what TCG said that it was only a dream.

If you guys are still wondering,Hunterxhunter is a shonen anime,much like naruto and OP,the one going on right now is a remake of the older one,which i hear was MUCH MUCH slower progressing but still one of the best. I have watched like 80+ episodes and its good,well, you will know. A kid on a mission,goes on adventures,makes new friends,has a LOT of potentiol,badas dad who is not in the picture etc tec.
Attack on titans is like the next Death Note or FMA. In a category of its own. Better to wait and watch once finished although i doubt they can finish it in 24 eps. It is De bomb right now.

I wish the would give it like 50+ episodes... that'd b neat... :bd2: just like FMA..

Hmmmmmmmm was thinking about going for Moster again.. i left it sumwhere at the 119th episode...damn its just tooo slow.. but i'v heard alot about this so i think i should complete this one.. btw U'v watched freezing..?

you first kill a char then bring them back with orbs as in DBZ they do with dragon balls But hey... who cares it was good anyway.... Sometimes when the whole anime is going awesome and then suddenly there comes a thing you don't like... you just have to ignore it.... bcz nothing can be perfect... They can't make the anime taking everybody's opinion into account.... Some would like her dead, some wouldn't.... they went with the happy ending so just cheer up and enjoy it :bd2:

Now look at how many people care about characters dying in DBZ? No one, no one cares if someone dies in that show cause they always come back one way or another. Death, which is a tragic thing has no meaning in DBZ, just like how it has no meaning in Clannad.

I can't help but see this as a very pathetic excuse to jerk some tears out of people but in the end give them a happy ending. If it weren't for the happy ending, if Nagisa and Ushio both died, I can almost guarantee you that this anime wouldn't be as popular as it is now 'cause most people can't handle sad endings. So I see this as a way to appease the morons that aren't satisfied with anything less than the happiest ending. I just can't respect something like that.

Hyouka: Expected much more from the anime, it was as if the writer was confused. There were episode where I enjoyed it but it got boring as it progessed. 7/10

Hakkenden: Once Again Wanted a better plot, deeper characterization and story telling. 7.5/10

Free!: One of the better animes this season. Seems promising as a sports anime. 8.5/10

Started With Persona 4 too: 8/10

Seriously, can't find a worthy anime :/ . Any recommendations?

I haven't seen only the last one yet. I'll check that out.

Uchuu kyoudai:- One of the best ongoing anime so far. So long story short I came across Uchuu Kyoudai(Space Brother), at the first I thought it was like oh just an average anime which have sci-fi and bla bla bla. Since i didn't have any anime to watch, I thought I could try it for just one episode. and then seems like i had learned my lesson.
And that lesson was
"Dont ever judge anime by its cover, genre, or anything else before you watched it"
So a really must watch anime with great story line with some of the best laughs in anime I have seen so far. 10/10.

I've started Shingeki no Kyojin pretty amazing story. I was isolating from new anime scene and was stuck with old Naruto,One piece and HxH type but they brought me back into anime scene.
