Basically they're just two different anime, still their names are different. What about the ones who created them? The same person or the respective two of them?
They're the same anime, one just follows the manga completely while the other one diverges from the manga.

Oh. Interesting. So, it's just like Hugarashi, but instead of so numerous perspectives, it is has two different perspectives from which the anime is framed. That sounds like fun.

It's not different perspectives, they follow the same story up to a point, but the original FMA diverges from the plot of the manga. :p

Remakes? What's the original thing then? ._.
No original in a general sense.

See, its like this:
FMA till episode 24-25 and Brotherhood till 14-15 episodes follow the same story line, and that story is related to the manga. After that, their story is different from one another.

FMA follows a new story from 24-25 episodes onward, which is not related to the manga, the reason was that the Manga wasn't finished when the anime was airing so they decided to continue the story in their own way.

Now Brotherhood, it was released way later on and by that time, the manga was finished so it follows the manga till the end.

Because of this, both animes have similar story at first but then it drastically changes. Everything is so different later on that it is paramount to watch both the series.

Now some prefer the Manga story that Brotherhood faithfully followed while others prefer the other story that FMA creators created.
Whatever the case, both animes are brilliant and a must watch.
And since FMA was released first, it is better to watch it first too, then Brotherhood.

I personally liked FMA a little more because of its better soundtrack, a more darker and deeper tone, and more emotional content.

Finished Chaos;Head.
It was an okayish kinda goodish anime, know what I mean. :p
The main character was kinda interesting seeing as he felt like a normal extra anime and gaming nerd. Wasn't that likeable though.
The story is what was really interesting and could have been a great thing but the execution was not good. And being a 12 episode anime, it took way tooo long to start things up and then wrapped everything up in a rush.
I really was interested in the first few episodes and was really wanting to see where the story was heading but sadly, it didn't pan out well.
And other than the main character, no other character was given any real closure or development. It was just feeling like a typical Harem.

Overall all, I would say, it was an Ok anime with some good parts in it.

WOW, now this was an amazing anime.
Its been a long while since I was this interested in an anime and enjoyed it this much.

The characters in this anime are just AWESOME. They are so well made and you just get to love them immediately. The main protagonist is a great one. I immediately liked him and he just kept on getting better and better. Loved his dialogues and character. I self proclaimed evil mad scientist who is a actually a good guy.
You get to feel for and love every main character, and even some of the side characters. Their meetings, bafoonery etc etc, its just fun to watch.

The writing and dialogue in this anime is another thing I really liked, its just awesome. The anime might seem slow paced to many because it is basically dialogue and interactions for the first few episodes but not for me. It was so enjoyable that it didn't even seemed a tad bit boring or slow paced.

Story is also a great one. It is not everyday you get to see a take on time travelling in this way, which is very personal and emotional. You get to see and feel that messing with time, even a tad bit is no joke and shouldn't be taken lightly. It can have great consequences. Even when the plot thickens and gets big, the anime never lets go of its personal touch and feeling instead of pursuing grandeur scenes.
The anime is really humorous too at times. But it doesn't get way too much that a person starts cringing or groaning, which is the case with many animes. Infact, the humour in it is one of the best displayed I have seen in an anime which is not specifically a Comedy anime. It doesn't get childish or too animeish etc. It just stays right. I had a pretty good laughs at some scenes while in others a smile was always present on my face.

Animation is really good, well defined and detail and pretty to look at. Soundtrack is also really good. Sets the mood in emotional scenes and is rightly appropriate for funny scenes.

I do wish that the anime was a little longer so that they could have shown some background of some of the main characters.

Overall, I would say, a really great anime and of the best take on time travelling I have ever seen.

Lol,when did an ANIME of Devil does exist come out man? as far as i know, its only a manga and a tiawanese drama.
Also Kare Kano is EXACTLY what you said you dont want. Its basically slice of life. Nothing special. Also its like 15 years old as of now, might not like it.

Yeah I know, lots of animes to watch, too little time. :(

Anyway, haven't watched those.
And going by your choice for a romantic anime, Steins;gate definitely fits the bill. :p
And Fullmetal panic is good too, especially its second season, it rocks and way better than first.

Told you guys many times it was epic. Kyouma-san is just beyond humorous at times, those fake calls really cracked me up. Other than that, the only thing lacking was the back story of Okabe and Dan.

P.S: 9.25 rating really? Weird :p
