[NTA] Chosing between two audio output devices

i have speakers connected to rear port of my PC and headphones to the front.
to use the speakers i have to eject the headphone jack. which is kind of annoying. when headphones are plugged in there appears to be no way i can use speakers.
there must b options in windows 7 that allows you to chose between the output devices that are connected. could any1 help me with that?

There is such an option. Right click the volume button on task bar and click playback devices. What does it list there?

AMD HDMI output(not plugged in)
Speakers
Realtek Digital Output

open realtek menu and select speakers.
