Playstation Nomura: The info ban on Final Fantasy Versus XIII to lift soon

Final Fantasy Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura was a special guest on the latest broadcast of Square Enix Radio where he was questioned about updates regarding the highly anticipated title.
ー When will new information regarding Final Fantasy Versus XIII be announced?
Nomura: Even within the company it’s a very delicate problem. The date when we can concretely lift the ban has been decided and we are preparing for that moment. Maybe the details as to why information couldn’t be released might be touched upon at the next information announcement. I’m sorry it’s already overdue, but please wait just a little more.
Does that mean we will definitely see the long awaited title appear in Square Enix’s E3 2013 lineup? Only time will tell, as we’ve heard numerous teasers before.

too little too late to be perfectly honest. SE dropped the ball in marketing the game, they should have waited when they had something more concrete ready before announcing the game because a lot of people have lost interest.

I guess this could mean that the new FF announced for PS4 could be Versus.

Considering that the ban on Versus is about to come off, and that it was said that "a new FF would be announced at E3", it seems completely plausible that Versus will be renamed as FF XV.

pretty much confirms that FFvXiii is now the new soon to be announced FF game at E3.. New FF game at E3.. versus xiii info coming soon.. cant be a coincidence

Square Enix follows a different time standard when it comes to FF13 verses. Soon = couple of years

IT is possible that the new FF title announcement on E3 could be renamed FF13 verses.

Even though this E3 is shaping up pretty good, I'm afraid to get excited.

The past three have been so exceedingly disappointing, that mere words can not express my discontent. Although FF V.XIII becoming FF XV can probably save the entire E3, regardless of the amount of casual crap Sony and Microsoft show.

Blame it on Wada and his incompetency. Now that he is fired, maybe and it is a big MAYBE, we can expect things to start going better again.
