ASSALAAM BROTHERS..
BY THE GRACEOF ALLAH ALMIGHTY AND AFTER SEARCHING FOR MONTHS I FINALLY GOT THE PHONE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR..
IT'S THE NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW RED COLOR..
I AM SURE I AM NOT THE FIRST ONE TO UNBOX THIS PHONE BUT I THOUGHT SINCE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE CRAZY ABOUT ANDROID AND BUY SAMSUNG PHONES IN ABUNDANCE..I THOUGHT WHY NOT DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
TO BE HONEST WITH ALL OF YOU..I WASN'T EXPECTING GREAT CAMERA PERFORMANCE AT ALL..BUT WHEN I USED IT FOR A FEW MINUTES,I REALISED THAT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG..ITS CAMERA IS EXCEPTIONAL.I WAS GOING FOR LUMIA 1020 BUT ITS XENON FLASH IS WEAKER COMPARED TO 808.ALSO 808 COLOR REPRODUCTION IS TRUE TO LIFE WHILE THE LUMIA 1020 OVERSATURATES COLORS WHICH I DONT LIKE.
IT'S NOT A BRAND NEW PHONE..I BOUGHT IT USED.

808 has a better camera although the chipset is very old... anyways, congrats... how much did you get it for?

Your post is so self-contradictory. First you say you weren't expecting great camera performance at all. Seriously a 41MP camera with that big hump and a xenon flash weren't indicators enough that it's a decent camera? Secondly if you weren't expecting a great camera then why on earth would you buy a Symbian of all phones?
Lumia 1020 will be getting RAW support in a few months which will blow away this phone. A bad decision IMO but as long as you're happy nothing else matters.

@Lord Ammar i was expecting decent phone quality pictures..but no it is in a league of its own..it even puts good point and shoots to shame..btw..did you see the sample shots of lumia 1020 clearly..the amount of post processing and over sharpening in the pics leads to a lot of digital noise when you zoom in..no such thing like that in the 808 in my opinion..and lumia 1020 is way too overpriced..i might get one in the near future if they can reprogramme their image processing alogrithms..till then i am fine with my 808.

congratulations
few days back i saw few pictures and videos of 808 and was thinking they videos were captured from a handy cam but when i ask the auther about cam he said 808 camera is the only point to buy this phone else its a normal phone

thanks bro..yeah i know what you mean bro..but i had n8 for 2 years which i gave to my father,still love n8 a lot..after that i switched to android..bought galaxy s2 and then s3..the only plus they had were the display..after installing some apps both s2 and s3 would lag a lot..so i decided to go back to the great nokia and found the 808 the ultimate contender for my purchase..if android phones of major brands like samsung,htc ,sony or any other company come out with a camera or hardware nearly as good as nokia..i will switch to that phone immediately..but so sad to see no one is doing it.

thanks a lot bro..yeah its a bit bulky but considering that huge sensor inside that hump..its still good enough ergonomically..bought it for 24000.

Lumia 1520 and 1020 RAW support updated today via nokia camera app but just needs few more weeks wait for nokia black update to work properly:)

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
