So this is on sale for $40 on PSN right now. Might as well get it to support timed exclusivity for multiplatform games.
Avoid it, unless you're itching to play a Dark Souls clone. Sekiro is a completely different game.
Late to the party, but how is Nioh a Dark Souls clone but Sekiro isn't? Yes, Sekiro is from the same dev, so it's not a clone per say. But just because there's a deflect mechanic and posture gauge, it doesn't change how the game flow is based entirely on the Souls blueprint.
Nioh 2 also appears to have its fair share of intricacies that deviate it from the Souls formula.
