Nexus 7 Alternatives - Ainol Venus and Flame

Here are two cheap alternatives to Nexus 7 (which costs around 27k @ homeshopping). I am looking forward to buy one of them but am confused which tab is better for gaming. Ainol Venus has Quad Core CPU but a GC 1000 GPU which ive read is pretty bad. Ainol Flame has Dual Core CPU but Mali 400 GPU. Wasnt really able to find proper benchmarks which would prove the better combination. They both cost around 15k. Please help me decide if they are anywhere near Nexus 7. Also, currently I own Qmobile A8 and am amazed to see that it can play almost all the latest games. Can we say the same for these tabs?

None of these is anywhere even remotely close to a Nexus 7. Tegra 3 isn't best in class, but games optimised for Tegra 3, which are a lot, are quite stunning looking.

I would also recommend Nexus7 against these especially if gaming is your prime concern (Nexus7 32gb for 29900/- @ Galaxy.pk).
On paper these Chinese ones look very good but still you won't find any long term usage review for them.

Nexus 7 isn't that expensive so why would you want a Chinese replacement for it. And no matter how great the specs of a Chinese tablet are, no manafacturer can boast the same dev support that the nexus lineup can. The 16GB variant is avalible for 25000 also.

iv had hands on experience with the flame and venus. they are gud tabs as far as reading and surfing is concernd but if im getting mercedes for 25k why on earth waste money on a mehran costing 20 :s

Well i think only hsn is selling it in warranty but at 27k, a difference of 12k compared to the chinese tabs. Question is....would Ainol offer better gaming performance compared to Qmobile A8?

^ Gaming will be better on the tegra 3 i guess, dual core MP400 aint that good either.

Nexus 7 8gb is available for 22k in technocity...There is no better alternate in that range...Samsung tab 2 is also good and lies in the same price range but it isn't as good as nexus...

I was in the same dilemma as the OP. I bought an Ainol Crystal for 12k and its more than what I expected. Bought it for my Nephew who likes gaming and it runs games well. It lacks a GPS device and bluetooth which are of value to me but not my nephew.

If I have 25k I would buy the Nexus but if I am tight on budget then Ainol Flame?crystal/Venus isnt bad choice. It runs very well.
camera will be below average and there will be no updates but it would certainly be enough to enjoy a tablet. Games run not as smooth as Nexus but runs quite comfortable...
