No 1.5 L engine has 37.5 mpg which comes out to be 15.9 km per L (KMP)

It depends, uk or us mpg's vary.
US Gallon = 3.7 liters
UK Gallon = 4.3 liters
Always check that first.
So 37.5 comes as:-
16.3 km/L if the source is US
14.0 km/L if the source is UK

Yes no matter how we calculate, milage can't be 20 kmpl as advertised by Pakistani websites BTW I calculated based on "Google gallon"

I m getting 15 16kmpl in currunt gen civic on long so 17 18 could b possible

you can get the new shape prius 2010-11 model depending on condition, mileage etc anywhere between 19 to 22 lac.

as for the 2012 lava lamp model again depending on condition anywhere between 22lac to 24lac.

the new civic would be coming in late 2017 i would say since its launching abroad late 2016.. so judging by the trend honda's model come an year later or so here.

i'd say so far prius is very sucessful i go a month in 2000rs of petrol lol not much driving gives about 500km in that MASHA ALLAH

[MENTION=2126]Jshak[/MENTION] IMO yes, in the price range it is the best economical car, only fuss is the annual tuning etc but that is also just with it as it's parts and other stuff goes along way.

second choice if u are in the 10 12 lac range than i would suggest toyota vitz. not hybrid but still better than all in the price range and comfort level.

there are alot of hybrids in the market...

the honda ones are honda FIT and honda i cant remember name but shaped like a station wagon u know long from behind etc

another popular one is honda vezel going on about now. that mini suv hybrid, one can get that zero meter etc in 33lac or so. 1500cc
