Net works almost fine at night, constant disconnections during the day...

This has been a problem for a couple of weeks now. Starting from about 8-9 am it starts to really suck, the internet light on the router turns off and it doesn't come back on till like 5-10 minutes later. Sometimes it comes back when I restart the router. While at night it gets stable again from 8-9 pm onwards till morning. Before this started happening I had a problem of slow browsing and high pings in games during the day(for months). Now its worsened. Using PTCL 1mb.

My guess: you aren't paying them their "chai pani" and they're messing with your lines during the day to let you know.

Your line quality is bad. I suggest switching to Nayatel or some other ISP that does not rely on phone lines as the transmission medium. Maybe worldcall cable broadband.

change ur line....there is a problem with the line maybe there are many joints
