Android keyboard on your device has stopped working

This is the error notification I keep getting every 10 seconds on Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
I forced Stopped the keyboard, disabled it and then enabled it again, but to no use.
I cannot anyother app as unable to type a single word since keyboard is not working.

What do I do.

I have also tried after shutting the phone down, also didn't work.
Please HELP.

Anyway, the easiest way to solve this is to install a custom keyboard and disabled the android keyboard. (Disabling it easy. Either do it from Settings > App Manager or Freeze it using Titanium Backup).

Download a Kii Keyboard, free at Play Store. Much closer to stock experience, but better, efficient, improved and slightly more feature rich.

Login to your PlayStore via a PC. Find the Kii Keyboard, and press Install. Keep WiFi on on your device and it'll be installed automatically on your device, as soon as you press the Install Button from your PC.

I opened Dictionary Provider from Settings/Apps/All and and cleared data and boom the keyboard is working like a charm, but I was on default ROM never installed costumed rom.

Beside this I am unable to install anything from google play since I cleared dictionary data, don't know why is it so

This problem happened when I updated my friend's phone to CM10.1 and then downgraded to CM10.

Fixed it by going into Settings > Applications > (Keyboard Name) > (and then I think Uninstall...)
