XBOX Need some advice !!!!

Hey guys, i'm want to xbox 360, the brand new one is a bit out of my range,
so i will buy the used/refurbished one.
What i want to ask is, which one should i buy, elite/arcade etc...????

whats the difference b/w jasper and falcon ????

The falcon is the previous chip which is more prone to the dreaded RROD whereas the jasper units are those which have little to no chances or RROD provided you use them with care. Hence the logical choice would be to get an xbox 360 with the jasper(newer) chipset.
