I am looking to buy laptop in 50k, preferebly 2nd gen i5.
Please suggest MODEL and BRAND.

500GB HDD

For 50k (used) and I think 55k (new).
Good luck.
Crap build quality but performance is 10x better than others.

You could prolly find a nice ProBook for 50k, actually you can get ProBook 4530S for 48-49k

Dell Inspiron N5110 is your best bet. And is the recommended laptop in this range everywhere. Even in an article written by Microsoft itself about best $500 laptops, Inspiron 5110 is on top and also on other blogs. So, go for that. My brother also has it. Although it's the i3 with Intel HD3000 one. He got it new for 49k.

if u want a decent laptop and for gaming even

get the hp envy --annosaad was selling some damn fine pcs at a decent price
1920-1200 / full hd / 5850 / core i7 / 8gb etc ...and it was pure sax ...

@ 63k was the price .
