[NBA] Headphones - Choose from List - Budget around 6k

Dear fellow forum members!

Greetings from the sticks...

Recently (read yesterday) I commited one of the greatest blunders in my PC items shopping history when I bought a Corsair CA-HS1A costing round 5,500/- (Pak Rupees, ~ 70USD).

Imagine my surprise when I bought them home and listened to the AMAZING sound quality, AMAZING feel and design... but absolutely NO BASS!! None whatsoever!



So, what I have decided is to exchange them over to the store (Galaxy), and go for one of the following options:


1) Creative HS-850

2) Logitech Digital Precision Gaming Headphone

3) Razer Orca

4) Razer Carcharias (its a bit over my range, but I can consider if u guys insist on it)



I am bound to these alone as they are the only ones falling within my price range, and available at the store. As you can guess, I want decent sound for both movies and games. My personal pref is for Orcas, but the eyebleeding color.... ugghhhhh gonna have to magic marker it or something! lolz



So, what do you guys think I should go for??

contact bachelor and get jvc HA-RX700...abt 6k or HA-RX900...abt 8k price...i think so these will be the prices

I also made the same mistake. The HS1 lacks Bass otherwise the sound is great.

Contact bachelor. He has RX700 and RX900.

RX700 has awesome bass, with good overall sound.

RX900 is said to have overpowering bass as compared to RX700 but it is considered a very good headset for beginner modders.

The price should be lower than what Waqas mentioned in IMO.

Yeah you're right! BUT the problemo is I've already pluncked out 5k for this useless set... and now I gotta choose from the list that're in my budget, assuming the dealer gives me considerable difference on the HS1. Worst case scenario: I'm stuck wid them for abt 2 months till when I'm able to buy something else

if you want bass then never get headphones from gaming companies like razer, steelseries or logitech(no matter what the people say.. they do not have quality sound as to a noob everything which is not distorted feels quality)... the only good creative headphone is creative aurvana live...

even though i have the best bass headphones in the world sony xb1000, a sennheiser hd598 and i have the most famous bass headphones of all time, sony xb 500, on the way... i will still get these two models of jvc as they are cheap and good quality just like the sony xb series... extreme bang for buck value..

Great choice dear...u will love everything associated with RX900 provided u have a decent sound card...at least like sb0880
and they are extremely soft and huuuuge in size ...just perfect
