Keep you radars locked on. Dragg3r will be selling his newly won 460 Calibre alongside his own 560Ti DF. If I were you, I'd keep my eyes on the 560 and pursue it, because he surely will be going for a 670 soon.

That said, what's your exact cumulative budget?

id say to wait for next 6-9 months.. U can probably play games on medium/high with this card..
By that time midrange cards on nividia wud also be released. SO ull have more choice to pick from without changing ur PSU, cuz new series card consume very very less power...

Appreciated but is 560 better than 6790 and will it work with my 500w psu?
GTX560 > GTX460 1GB > HD6850 > GTX460 768MB > HD6790

Its in a completely different performance range than HD6790
But it will require a better PSU a Proper 500W one not CM Extreme 500

The 6850 over 460 in my personal opinion cuz the performances are neck and neck, the 6850 is a good overclocker (personal experience), and requires less power. But the 460 and 6850 are equally insufficient for 1920x1080. I have to ock it a lot to keep frames vs settings enjoyable.

Don't buy anything less than a 560 (Ti) if you want good 1920x1080 (mazkraven). I bought the 6850 when I was on 1680x1050 with no aims of upgrading. Little did I know I would upgrade in 5 weeks. :p

Mazhar, khuda ka wasta hai use some reliable sources. :p HWCompare and GPUreview are the last ones you should see.

The 560TI consumes well over 250 on load.

GTX560Ti Overclocked versions will Max out on ~220W (Checked MSI 560Ti TwinFrozr Review)

GTX560 should hover between ~150-180W

HD6790 is the range of 110-125W

HWCompare and GPUReviews are Total Crap

but i guess,,,, 500 watts is sufficient.. though not reliable...
I used my 7950 on 460watts cooler master extreme... It worked for a week before i upgraded to more stable PSU.

Yeah. Unless you have a 380W psu labelled 500. (sm1)
