I don't know what you meant, but Cooler Master's eXtreme Power 500W and eXtreme Power Plus 500W is a "true" 500 wattage unit, it's just a bad built unit therefore should be avoided. A 380W-400W unit labelled 500W won't give more than 23A-29A on the 12v rail.

@mazkraven, as hasanJ said not a worthwhile upgrade. Gather some more funds and upgrade the whole goddamn rig!

Don't have enough cash to upgrade the whole rig, will be getting another one soon but right now no chance for upgrading this rig!
Low on Cash, I can either wait n collect den buy a 560 or can quickly buy a 6790 :D
NO PSU UPGRADE I TELL YA!

But even then, there's a peak wattage, and there's an efficient wattage. Extreme Power is rated at peak.

Well I'll be getting a Sparkle GTX 560 (non Ti) from IMX cuz jis jis se pcha hai they said 560, so insha'ALLAH is month ke end main maybe I would get a 560.

As I said, aforementioned units are TRUE 500W units.
