Nayatel's horrible upload speed

I am from Islamabad. I am using Nayatel since 2011. I had consulted Nayatel support several times. Most of the time their support was helpful. Few deep issue were not fixed though but atleast their support team was very helpful and corporative.

I never had issue related to internet speed though. The issue with upload can be due to your end device or the wifi router configurations. Have you tried changing your browser or cache, if not your end device? Most of the times if an issue is constant, it could also at your end, cuz rest of the customers are also using same setup and connections.

I have 8 Mbps internet.

It's one thing to pass sweeping statements, be it Nayatel, Telenor or even PTCL. It's another thing to back it up with an experience.

Connected via a router which connected to the main access point. Tried connecting directly as well.

This. I don't use Nayatel anymore (since they don't have coverage where I'm living) but I never had an issue with them... except for their packages. That's all.

As per my understanding, NTL support can't access your LAN devices. All they can do is optimize your ONT configurations. You need to connect directly to ONT and that too via LAN ports. And as stated before test this on separate devices. Most of the time, issue is at customer end and customer needs to himself figure stuff out. See this as per ISP's perspective. If a single customer reports an issue, why would the support team escalate the issue forward. Unless multiple customers are facing same issue, the issue is not escalated to higher authorities. Kindly do verify after connecting multiple devices via LAN directly to ONT. In case you are still facing issue, then do inbox me your User ID so I can forward it to a guy in NTL.
