Most of the people who are switching to Nayatel are gamers. Now Nayatel knows this and they are exploiting it. Pay 200 Rs. for optimized pings. Next year they will say:
500 Rs. for Optimized gaming
1000 Rs. for Improved Optimized gaming
1500 Rs. for Extreme Optimized gaming.
You guys wait and see.

So how much difference does it make? I am feeling sluggish connection in between games now. It was ok before. As they are doing it on purpose so people opt for this package.

Yar Fark koi nai hai it's the same old west east route now u have to pay for it
They did optimized the west route for omantel which is basically direct route to battlefield 1/5 rocket league Fifa servers
So expect 40 50 pings in those games other than that it's the same old thing

Dear Customer,

We always aim to provide highest quality services at affordable and competitive prices. Internet bandwidth is a significant cost of our operations and we pay this in US $ to backbone Internet providers. Due to increasing cost of US $ and other utilities, it is not feasible for us anymore to maintain the quality at existing prices.

We are therefore constrained to increase home Internet rates by Rs. 100+tax per month effective 01 November 2018.

Best Regards,

Nayatel Marketing

See this is the shit I'm talking about fucking greedy bastards

Well, for this, they're not wrong. But for other things, in the name of "value added services", I don't agree.

Also, us, as a nation, are cheapskates (myself included). It's human nature to find something cost effective, but to get everything in life for free isn't exactly realistic.

And what special thing does Nayatel offer? Well, their customer support, HD Box, coverage and general internet reliability (although browsing on PTCL is faster). I'm not condoning their behavior for charging for things which are generally provided for free by the others, but they do have to run their company at the end of the day, and the criticism has gone a little too far, in my view.

Praise what's right, criticise what's wrong, but keep a balanced tone.

As if the dollar price is only increased for Nayatel right?? At this point I think Nayatel only tries to suck money out of their customers. Not to mention they are the only fiber based ISP which is capped.

Ur not getting the point
It's the horrible buissness practices
Nobody asked anything for free
But capped internet
250 rupees + mein YouTube and Google free
Mazeed 250 mein Netflix free
200 rupees mein games ki pings theek
These are horrible buissness practices where they want to leech money from whatever way possible , not a single isp in the entire country does this

This is very greedy from Nayatel. Guys everyone should post against this on their fb page and twitter and support. I just did. At least they should know that users are disappointed with these tactics of theirs.

I'm not saying they're wrong - all I'm saying is perhaps if you don't think...

Oh who am I kidding - there are gamers on this sub.

Most free things will turn into a payme scheme sooner or later.
Its a business model, look at Google.
While you may not be wrong, but at this juncture this new Nayatel 'offering' translates to "we are going broke, pay us for sh*t we have been giving you for free until now".

Nayatel shills on this forum *facepalm*

Even though I don't live in Nayatel's coverage area, I'd avoid them even if they were.

Reasons:
- They violated Net Neutrality
- They are selling a optimized routing tables which should come by default with any ISP.
- Capped FTTH ISP in 2018, is that a joke?
- Increasing monthly bill for what? Bandwidth has to be cheaper as time passes, not expensive.

I'm using internet for a long time from Dialup to cablenet, to DSL and so on.

These ISP's MILK too much money from their subscribers. Even after maintenance charges there's a lot of profit that is made.

Dear Nayatel, stop shitting customers.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
