SOURCENaughty Dog gave their thanks to other development studios during the closing credits of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The most surprising of which was Bungie, developer of the Halo series for the Xbox systems.
During a live chat session with fans, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann explained why they choose to thanked Bungie and other development studios:
Re: thanking other developers. We try to be quite open with our technology and our process. We exchanged technology and ideas with other developers. We wanted to make sure we thanked everyone that helped us out in some way.It seems quite a bit unusual seeing two exclusive developers for rival systems exchanging ideas and technology with each other. However, the exchange is working out quite well for both developers since Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360 and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the Playstation 3 are two of the most acclaimed games of 2009 so far.
Very classy act by Naughty dog, it's good to see this open comradeship between studios.
