So, I was just lurking around on animebyt.es and some posted this chart there. I couldn't believe it at first, of course because of Natsume Yuujin-chou san listed at the top! It was just too good to be true, but even so I searched for it and it's official. (I cried tears of joy at this, honestly I did!)
The anime will start airing in July, hurray!
The April issue of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine is announcing on Thursday that the third television anime season based on Yuki Midorikawa's Natsume Yūjin-Chō (Natsume's Book of Friends) shōjo ghost-story manga has been green-lit for this year. The third season will be titled Natsume Yūjin-Chō San. Takahiro Omori is once again directing the anime at the studio Brains Base. Also returning are character designer Akira Takata, monster designer Tatsuo Yamada, art director Yukihiro Shibutani, color setting artist Yumi Miyawaki, director of photography Hitoshi Tamura, and editor Kazuhiko Seki. However, Sadayuki Murai (Mōryō no Hako, Boogiepop Phantom, Millennium Actress) will be the new series script supervisor.
The story revolves around Natsume, a boy who has been able to see ghosts since he was little. Unfortunately, humans shun him, and there is not much fondness between him and ghosts either. One day, he inherits a Yūjin-Chō ("Book of Friends") from his grandmother. The book is actually full of contracts that his grandmother made to trap ghosts. As one ghost after another shows up, Natsume tries to release or help them — even while many of them seek vengeance on him.
More details about the new season will be provided in future issues of LaLa. This project and another anime based on a Midorikawa manga, Hotarubi no Mori e, will be on display at the Anime Contents Expo next month in Chiba, Japan. The 11th compiled book volume of the Natsume's Book of Friends manga will ship in Japan on March 4.

The Summer 2011 chart:

Taking a good look at the chart does prove that this summer will be fabulous! An OVA of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was announced, which came as a big shock to me as I did not expect anything further to come for Higurashi.

This looks interesting.

18th Century France + Japanese Culture Crossover = Interest

Reminds me of Nodame. :(
Ah, my quick-threads lack trailers. Next time, I'll try adding trailers of all the anime that are going to air in the specified season.
About the trailer you posted, the anime is cute, the voice acting is so cute and it is similar to Kuroshitshuji in terms of the setting. But this anime has more 'glow' in its scenes.

And... you need to watch Mushishi and Natsume Yuujinchou next! Because both of these anime are masterpieces in their own. Watch these three trailers:
Natsume Yuujinchou:
Spoiler: show
Mushishi: (Not an official trailer though.)
Natsume Yuujin-chou 's back. This is great. I hope u r not joking this time;)
Definitely not. I didn't cry out of happiness for no reason. Plus for more solid proof, the announcement was made in the Lala magazine. Of course they wouldn't want to have a lawsuit filed against them by spreading a rumour or a hoax announcement. Also there are some solid details about the staff that will be working on the new season.
You can google for the anime if you want.

I was joking, and yes it is confirmed on animenewsnetwork too. So all i can do is to wait for it's release. The best slice of life anime ever:)

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
