Assalamulaikum all.
It was quite a long time back when I modded my case. So I felt that it was time to 're-mod' it and give it a new look. Here's what it used to look like:

Now on to the modding.

The case all dismantled. I had painted the interior black last time I modded the case.

Started working with acrylic / plexiglass.

At this point, I should've taken more photos while I was building the case's front panel but since I didnt want to handle the cell with dirty hands, I dont have more photos of this stage. Moving on.

The basic design of the front panel is now done and I've sanded and filled the surface to get rid of the imperfections. You can see that I've cut the buttons / lights portion of the old case front and incorporated it into this one. I've cut the acrylic with precision to the nearest mm so that I dont have to use alot of filler on it.

Here's what my computer table looked like while I was working on the case.

The black base coat laid down.

The base coat was then sanded with a very fine sand paper and the front panel is test fitted onto the chassis.

It was all then painted in red with lots of coats of lacquer.

The painted parts were then left to dry for 2-3 days. Once the paint was dry, I sanded down a few layers of lacquer and then buffed it using cutting creme and lots of elbow grease.

Photos of more steps are missing here in which I installed acrylic for the side window, leds inside the case for lighting it and some other stuff.

Here's the finished product.

Now I know you're wondering how on earth do I access my cd drive. The top portion slides up to make the dvd drive and my homemade fan controller accessible.

Thats all folks :)
I know the pics lack quality but thats the best my cell phone cam could do. And trust me pics dont do complete justice to the real thing.
