Over 1600 Modern Warfare 3 Cheaters Already Banned


Infinity Ward has issued a warning to cheaters exploiting hacks and glitches in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's online multiplayer, with over 1600 bans already issued to underhand players."Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in #MW3 will not be tolerated. 1600+ bans issued. Updates in works," Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist, Rob Bowling explained with a sternly-worded tweet. "There's a button in game after a match," stated Bowling to help encourage players to report cheaters. "Click on them in the lobby and it gives option to View Gamercard + Report Player."


And if you think you're safe from a ban because Infinity Ward and Activision need video evidence first, you'd be dead wrong. "Stats are always recorded, we can verify and detect cheating without video proof," said Bowling.

Of course, cheating, hacks, glitches and Modern Warfare 3 go hand in hand, but it's quite another thing to take advantage of them to accumulate more XP, which has led Infinity Ward to look at a series of different bans based upon the severity of the offence, using the 'douche scale'.

"Every ban is unique to the level of douchiness of the offense," Bowling explained. "The greater the douche the greater the length. PermaDouche possible."So, don't be a PermaDouche. Enjoy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 without cheating, and you'll be fine.

I WANT another Modern Warfare game focusing specifically on Captain Price ... but i think thats not to happen. And unfortunately, its the end for Capt. Price as well as for MW series

Yeah, Reznov was pretty cool, and Black Ops was the only Call Of duty in history to have a half decent story, Really surprised me in the end since I wasn't expecting it to be good.

I still haven't touched BF3 campaign but MW3 was pretty satisfying considering the turmoil at Infinity Ward. Also, it was great to see Captain Price & Soap's story to the end. Soap didn't have much to do btw.

The best story is COD series and the worst gameplay. It's the only COD game with no replay value at all.

COD 2 should be re-done, reconstructed and rendered with the new engine and technology. That was THE BEST Call of duty game to date.

Even the Zombie Mode wasn't AS interesting as it was in World At War.

To understand the Midfcuk Story ... i referred to the Cod Wikia. I say The Best explanation I got for that story.

umm ... It was good. But i dont think it was anything in it which should be remade.

I mean, after playing Modern Warfare ... the first game in Modern Warfare franchise, i dont think any COD game can EVER touch this level of awesomeness.

There are PLENTY of things to brag about in COD4. It was the First Game to make us realize that there IS a "Death from the Above" which is SO Deadly that i'll make you watch that scene again and again.

I tried playing MW3 campaign again but it's painfully stupid and the audio is dam annoying.

There is NO fucking way to turn off that stupid music.

and what's with the SAME scope on EVERY gun? I mean where did the simple red dot go?

MW3 doesn't look good, doesn't feel fresh and definitely doesn't bring anything new.

Remove Capt. Price from the game and you've got a shitty FPS with average graphics.


Battlefield 3 on the other hand is well.. Magnificent.

sleek, clear audio. Controls are effective and very very responsive.

The graphics are mind-blowing beautiful.

The campaign however is not that great but the scenery just makes you want to keep going.

The Multiplayer is oh so wonderful. Amazing experience.
