Microsoft Unveils Brand New Windows 8 Logo

Windows 8's new Metro UI feature is a pretty dramatic departure from what most Windows users are used to. In light of this, Microsoft has seen fit to redesign the Windows logo we've all come to know and love. The company unveiled the new logo via the Windows Team Blog late on Friday afternoon.

This thread is useless. The Beta version of Windows 8 is supposed to be out at the end of this month whereas the official full version in the fall (most probably September is what sources say).

Looks like I'm going to stick to windows 7 for some time and jump to Windows 7's successor, just like I did with XP - Vista - 7.

Someone found my 1998 work in MS Paint =P lol but seriously the Windows 7 logo is fantastic and they had to go and make a good logo from awesome to twilight.
