AOA,

So, I've been able to score an aggregate of 77.024 % (due to a shitty UHS test).

So my main question is which private medical colleges should I be aiming for in Punjab (or even sindh, if the college is good)?

Kindly tell me the best private medical colleges that I could get in...

Your help will be much appreciated. JazakAllah.

Always choose a medical college that has a good teaching hospital attached with it. It would help you a lot with the practical side of things later on.

In your immediate locality I would suggest:

  1. Fauji Foundation Medical College
  2. Shifa Medical College
  3. Wah Medical College

The ones in Lahore which are considered pretty good:

  1. CMH-Lahore Medical College
  2. Fatima Memorial Medical College

Considering my aggregate, will I be able to make it into any of these medical colleges? Say FUMC for example?

Can't say for certain but do apply everywhere and pray for the best. Closing merit for some of these colleges in the past hovered around ~80%.
Kindly suggest me those medical colleges in which my admission is certain, e.g Islamic International (Riphah) , FMH etc...

Thanks :)

Before you make a decision do remember while getting admission in a good medical college definitely matter a lot but even more important is the fact that how much hardwork you are willing to do. I have met ( and even mentored) outstanding medical students from Private medical colleges (not even 10 years old) and I have seen pretty pathetic students from one of the best Medical Colleges around (King Edwards)

Where ever you get an admission go with an aim to learn, share , grow and deliver on a life long basis ( only for the sake for Allah --Let your Niyyat be pure from the start)

As for the medical colleges, my recommendations would be as follows

Shifa College of Medicine, Islamabad

Shalamar Medical College, Lahore

FMH Medical College, Shadman , Lahore

CMH Lahore Medical College, Lahore

Islamic Medical and Dental College, Riphah, Rawalpindi

Good luck

Thank you for your encouraging words. But I need to know which private colleges should be my top priority considering my aggregate just to be on the safe side... :)

Well, I can't suggest you a good medical college in those areas since I have no idea about it but I do agree with Ottoman about looking for a college which has a teaching hospital attached with it. I'm saying that because I have a couple of friends who are in medical and are studying from AIMC here and they have to go pretty far for hospital/practical stuff and it is really annoying for them because the college itself doesn't have a hospital nor any near establishment etc.

Allama Iqbal Medical College? WOW!

Anyways, I wanted to know, is LMDC or FMH College of Medicine a possibility for me or am I flying too high in the sky? And what about Fauji Foundation?
