There are a total of 5 videos, but only 2 have yet been uploaded to Megaupload by neogaf members. Game definitely looks MUCH more open now than previously shown in official videos. I'm totes hyped!

Can't wait to run around these wide open spaces and randomly come across people and enemies and have a blast killing them.

The level and sfx design look great. The BGM reminded me of Terraria a few times. I like how the screen isn't riddled with waypoints and that the companion AI actually points out points of interest by calling them out.

And that doesn't sound like a bad thing at all.

Regardless of getting a shitty player's perspective, it's nice to finally know what the game will feel like. All we've been seeing is scripted trailers and tight corridors (which make for better control over the trailer's content). So it's finally nice to see the initial concepts Bungie were talking about finally come through.

Exactly! A game taking inspiration from two great franchises, one of which is its spiritual predecessor, is a brilliant thing. Plus, as we all know, Destiny is much greater in scope with a persistent online universe that spans across multiple planets. I just hope there's some vehicular-based hyperspace combat in there as well.

Precisely my feelings. I'm looking forward to seeing what they show at E3. The previous reveal made it look like a generic shooter, in other words very ordinary.

You really should watch the very first Megaupload link in this thread to see how it's totally not an ordinary shooter. Your concern is completely true as far as official trailers are concerned. They've been very scripted and haven't shown nearly as much of open-ended gameplay as there actually exists.
