LIVE and EVDO

Guys,i have a worldcall EVDO 512 mbps connection. I wanna know,is it possible to go on xbox LIVE with this? Like,can i set up sharing through my pc or sumthin? If so,i would appreciate it if someone would give me step by step instructions how to do so ...........

i wouldn't count on it.

firstly, the evdo modem is a plug and play windows device. i don't think you can make it run on the xbox directly.

secondly, i don't believe the xbox has an options to go online with a shared internet account. maybe there is, don't know.

more importantly, the ping times are gonna be horrible. just because it's wireless, i guess you should add a 100ms ping extra. in my opinion, evdo would be horrible for online gaming.

on speedtest, i know i got a ping of around 240ms on the lahore server, whereas i've gotten 100-110ms max on my dsl and even as less as 70ms.

go for a wired connection.

Get wired ie dsl, wateen would also give outrageous pings, as far as dsl in concerned get ptcl

Dnt get wireless man get DSL its the best wireless always gets u a contant DC problem and very high pings get DSL.

I recommend get PTCL DSL which gives cheap internet but high speed. Worldcall evdo gives 512kbps on 1800rs. While PTCL gives 1mbps on 1200rs.
But you can share a connection between laptop and PC though
