I was looking some posts on xtremepapers and found out couple of things.
-More then one candidate can have same merit number.
- In 2013 upto 1628 merit number candidates were selected, lowest in gikii history
- Last year a candidate with merit number 1328 was offered admission in cs.

I really hope i get a admission in giki for cs given that same trend is shown :D

Same, haha. I found like 2 people too.
And I also found out that two rooms will share one bathroom in the hostels for GIK o_o

So 4 people for one bathroom, umm.. okay.

lahore dude
I am a gikian batch10 student. Which means i was there a long time ago(30 year old dude here). The life in giki is pretty good but it gets pretty old pretty fast. We called it a "jungle may zoo", if you know what i mean. We had individual rooms with attached baths(i hear you do not get that anymore in your first years atleast). Giki was once 3rd ranked in all of asia and the teachers were incredible but that changed after their funding got whacked and they started to increse their tution fee at an alarming rate. I would not recommend giki to anyone simply because it is too expensive now. And people at this age will go extremely crazy due to "tharkiness" as there won't be any girls around(20-1 ratio). There is no city around and that is a major negative. But if you are rich enough to keep a car then you can go to isl all the time but if you are not then don't go there. It will be a headache for you to live there for such a long time and be so isolated. The sports and everything else used to be good there but i don't know how it is now as i heard that many sports grounds are now covered with hostels or whatever. Academics aren't the things you should look at all the time because in a place such as this, you need some other things to survive. I would go to a place in lahore instead even though i was never impressed with places like uet or nust compared to giki academically.

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

MS one upping Sony in catching the biggest L in gaming
tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
