LG Nexus 4 goes official

Anyone here got it through their relatives/friends outside?
I am hearing so many bad things about it..Screen tint issues,thermal throttling,back glass breaking etc etc...

Every LCD phone released these days have tint issues including the iphone. Glass will....well break.

The only real issue is the thermal throttling one that we need to know whats up with that.

Back Glass could be protected by a case..Thats not a big issue.
thermal throttling is the big thing and it was found in many other smartphones as well..The thing that concerns me is the Optimus G is not haivng such problem.
Optimus G is running on ICS and N4 running on 4.2..Might be due to the temperature threshold value set differently in both mobiles.
I hope this issue gets sorted out soon..

Never did I say its ok. Nobody ever said that the iphone 4/4S has cheap quality glass but that there shouldnt be glass at the back and I will say the same thing about the nexus 4 there shouldnt have been glass at the back its a total stupid move by google.

Lol, you really did make a hue when the iPhone 4/4S saying it breaks easily and shit. Suddenly, you are changing your statement.

Btw, glass looks pretty but gets scratched and breaks easily so I must say that instead of using glass, companies(including Apple, LG and Google) should use some glossy plastic or a light-weight metal.

IPhone 4 is poorly built for several reasons. It's fragile, the back heavily scratches if you don't put protector, it's not ergonomic and very easy to slip from your hands. I don't know how ergonomic the nexus 4 is but sure it's fragile and needs protector at the back which is a big fail.

Easier said than done. Local online/storefront retailers that are offering Nexus 7 cannot even offer official Asus warranty. Its not a Rip off at all because these products are not made to be distributed to a country like Pakistan. The local agent beings a container full of new, refurbished, unbranded, grey market products every month from destinations like UAE, Singapore etc. They will buy this at retail prices which is $199, then pay logistics and under table, which is 1000 to 1500 per unit. Then sell to whole sellers keeping their 10% profit. Wholesellers will keep their 2% to 5% margins and sell to retailers which ideally should keep nothing less than 10%.
