Dont worry its D800 same like mine.
First you need to root your phone and then download build.prop editor after that open build.prop via editor and change model no. From D802 to D800 and save it and restart. After restart check in setting what model no. Is showing

Dear Shehroz, Before your reply, I checked back cover of my phone, Another IMEI number was written inside of it. I checked that number on lg website and the website say it is D801BK T mobile. What do you say about that? Is that IMEI number of the same phone or of some other phone?
Secondly, I have successfully changed the model number from D-802 to D-800 in build.prop.

Take a picture of your phone inside body and post here i will see. pic should cover yellow strip over battery and bottom body area.

Here is the photo of battery strips, waiting for your answer. "D800_F_Touch" printed over left strip, "D800/D801/D803/D803T" printed over left strip, "D801/D803" just below battery over speaker i think.

Yes its D800.
and now that you have successfully changed D802 to D800 here is the firmware link you must download

LG Flash Tool Download Setup_LGFlashTool_1.8.1.1023.exe
LG Drivers Download LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN313AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.13.2.exe
MegaLock DLL Download MegaLock.dll
Download and install LG Flash tool but dont run yet go to lg flash tool folder and replace megalock dll with the one in the link above
firmware DLL Download LGUP_8974.dll

Install:
2.Install LG Drviers
3.Install Flashtool (Don’t run it yet)
4.Extract the TOT file from the Zip
5.Copy MegaLock.dll file to C:\LG\LGFlashtool (This might be a hidden folder so enable "hidden folders". Replace the old MegaLock.dll file)

6.Power off your Device & or pull battery (G3),(G Pro),(G Flex)
7.Press and hold the Vol UP Key and plug in the USB cable to your phone you should now see “Firmware Update/Download Mode” and be in Download mode.

8.Open up Device Manger on your PC
8.1)Click on ports and double click LGEModem
8.2)Go to Port Settings Tab and click Advanced
8.3)Change COM Port to COM41 and click Okay.
8.4)After this you may need to rereboot your phone back into download mode.



9.Run LG Flashtool as Administrator
10.Select Manual Mode at the top
11.Click The DLL Box and choose the DLL file from Above meant for your device
12.Click the S/W box and select the firmware file with the .tot extension, Then Click OK when done.



14.You may need to unplug/replug phone before Firmware install will start (If it does nothing after clicking the yellow button

15. Should take anywhere between 4-8 Minutes, When its done your phone should reboot

Do NOT Close the FlashTool Window during firmware update.

99% of the time FlashTool will FAIL after 85% anything after 85% is just your phone rebooting so your safe

Everything is completed, just firmware is being downloaded :) and may take two or three minutes more to download. After that I will flash it. let see.

Bro, It says phone model is different in lg flash tool. but I had successfully changed the model. what should i do now?

do a complete factory reset or hard reset.

The baseband,IMEI was still unknown. I just installed the kitkat tot file of d800. It seems working fine, no restart till now. again, the baseband and IMEI is still unknown. touch is working fine.
