im in but im only 14 and dont know much :)
I would recommend you to learn some programming language (C++ preferably). You may not be able to join us as of yet, but you should keep your spirits high.

Also, we (the team) talked about establishing a platform for Pakistani Game Developers (only after we make a couple of projects first), you'll find it more useful than joining us :)

First a clarification, our team is not related to PG (although PG has been a way to get people on it), so if you want to be a part of PG, we can't help you very much.

If you want to be a part of our team, you are welcome, PM me your contact info for that.

hmm... cool idea for a cassual game i supose. its prob like your a gaurd on a futuristic train carrying treasure and there are futuristic pirates who would want to blow up the train in order to stall it and loot it. or a train carying soldiers going behind enemy lines.hmm...probably comiing back from the mission! but there is'nt really much that would hold onez interest for long. I mean its like the old games in which the space ship shoots those allienz flock that keeps on coming. I need people who CAN make video games. reall ones. I have the Ideas. I am trying to start writting compete scripts. but as much as I know about game dev I could not develop a drag and drop game copy pasting codes from other games if my life depended on it.

hey sorry dude I did'nt really mean it like that, when you said its an early screenshot and not finished I thought you meant its just a graphic. any way I meant the commercial engines like jade, torque, havock and crytek etc all these engines provide free or very cheap downloads from which any developer can make game prototypes, the licensing and everything is all done by the publisher. also. if the publisher accepts funding the developer gets enough amount of money license it themselves. thers is a load of talent in Pakistan just that no one has yet worked on a really big game yet. thats is the reason I might have to import a foreign lead programmer and game designer. and since I cant even pay the local team as much untill after the game is accepted for funding I might have to do some sort of profit-sharing deal with them.
http://tryhavok.intel.com/ this is an example of how we can use engines.

Havok is something we could just use. but there are loads others. I dont know a thing about engines programming or designing, but I have ideas. there really IS talent in Pakistan all we really need is some assistance. rpobably the lead programmer and game designer has to be imported from some where else. some one who actually has experience with big games. You dont know any publishers because there are'nt any in Pakistan yet. if there are developers there eventually will be publishers. what we need is an investor who'd pay the saleries untill we can have a good game demo/prototype. then all we do is have the demo copyrighted and send it to publishers. there are loads of em out there. they all have websites and ways for people to submit their ideas/concepts/demos. the only problem right now is motivation.

The Safest/easiest way to getting successful in this Biz is to do Casual/Web Gaming on PC and later Wii/DS/XBLA/PSN games. No one is interested in more FPS/3PS games. They are extremely expensive to make and demand top talent But there is always rooms for innovative little new games. No one will take them seriously but shelling out 10 bucks to try them out is nop!

Well I should be releasing my 1st Flash Physics Puzzle game in few Months, Wish me luck! and I will be sharing my experience with you guys in few months.

Good Luck!
You're right in saying that we should start small time, but the problem about starting big here in Pakistan is that no one seems to be taking an initiative towards it... gamers like us dont have the funds to start such a project and the bussiness men that have the doe. lack the enthusiasm for it. also i suppose it IS risky, but which business venture isn't? we, here in Pakistan need lead programmers, game and graphic designers with experience in big games, who can guide all their juniors how and what to do. its like how superman's dad said: "they only need light, to show them the way" or something like that.....
