net code is not like sf4but its not a epic fail ... its online is slightly better then mvc3 so quite manageable but it should be at least like sf4 ... execution may not be 100% but no input delay means quite playable ... remember starting days of sf4? so we should give it some time like we gave alot of time to sf4 ... and i told u before online is not like sf4 but game is not out so i hope when game will come out atlus will done some patching do make it better ... but i still believe we should try it

played console version of this game today and yeh baby this game rocks ... doing combos in kof has its own taste just pure timing ... u have do full command to do combos no short cuts ... most of the bnb combos are easy even super cancel are easy but HD mode is not that easy it took some time to do crazy combos ... brawlers has quite comeback in console version they can do grape in combo now so there main weakness is gone ... so now i really feel that every one will has a brawler in there team to make a team balance

game is quite balanced every character can do combo starting with low lk even brawlers can and very character can do super cancels into ultra super and every character can do crazy combos so no character has real advantage over other


one sad thing is online is not as good as it should be its playable but not up the mark hope few patches will come soon to make online better ... this game for me is really a sf4 killer if online gets better ...

Yeah the reviews are looking good and surprisingly not many people have complained about the online mode except for the fact that there is no spectator mode and the system for sharing replays is not good enough.

many people is not complaining because online is at par and slightly better then mvc3 so if people can manage play mvc3 online then kof13 is also not that difficult to handle and remember one thing mvc3 is the fastest game so if such fast paced game can be played on par online support then kof13 also can be and i dont think spectator mode is quite a big deal that can be done in a single patch but i really want play online but i dont see any one else interested ...

Thankfully, XIII does not repeat XII's mistakes. It offers an online experience that's smooth and stable, provided you find an opponent in the three-to-four green-bar range. If you fall below that, you'll encounter noticeable (though not unplayable) performance dips. When you finish, you can choose to save that match's replay for future viewing. While it's a nice touch, there is not a system in place for sharing or viewing other's replays. Sadly, Spectator mode is also absent in online play, which leads to a lot of bored players during group games.

Mr Karate vs Takuma (Changes)

1. gained f+A command attack, canned 3 hit leftrightleft punch that is comboable into and from.
2. Ko’oh-ken is KOF2k2 Takuma style. Both A and C vers will combo. C ver does not guardcrush.
3. C ver Ko’oh-ken has a ‘followup dash’ (doubletap forward) that lets you cancel the recovery with a short dash forward… corner combo fun here.
4. C ver Kohou (dp+C) is brakable (A+B to brake).
5. new move, Hakyoujin (qcb+P), which is a high or low Geese style counter.
6. regained Shorankyaku (hcb+K) knee rush, with all properties from KOF98.
7. Hienshippukyaku (hcf+K) is an AIR MOVE only.
8. DM’s are HSKK, Ryukoranbu, and Marco’s big shiny uppercut from Garou MOTW.

Ex Kyo vs regular Kyo:

1. ex Kototsuki is no longer a command grab, it’s a short rush and grab. He does not have the Hikigane (boo).
2. df+D 1hit no longer cancellable
3. close C, f+B combos, and is comboable from ala KOF2k1. This will be his main combo starter.
4. ex Oniyaki does not rise into the air, and only hits 6 times vs 10 from regular Kyo
5. ex firefist is the Dokugami (qcf+C) and the final dp+C hit has the properties of the ex Oniyaki
6. lost Air Orochinagi
7. Gained Mu Shiki, cB, cA, Mu Shiki works ala KOF97/98
8. Neomax IS comboable from close C, f+B, regardless of how the startup looks.
9. 75 Kai (qcf+K,K) is no longer automatic, both K’s must be manually input like in old KOF.Range of the move is far shorter than regular Kyo, and it comes out slower like in KOF2k. You can drivecancel it from qcf+C for jugglefuns.
10. rdp+K is the R.E.D Kick as expected, overheads.

Awww, man! ENVY! You got that bonus soundtrack... I wanted to pre-order the game solely because of it but I found out too late. :frown:

It covers the fundamentals of KOF. The dude uses KOF '98, but I think the things he talks about are applicable to pretty much any KOF. I think one of the first rules of SF is that you shouldn't jump, but in this game... The first rule, I think, IS to jump. xD Because you have hops and stuff, which are very hard to react to, so it's a good way of applying pressure. But like in SF, if you do a regular jump, you're most likely going to eat a full DM. lol

No. You'll most likely break his DM/SDM with your jump-in Normal attack unless his/her DM/SDM has invincible startup (which very few of the cast has).

Oh yea back the drawing board , would be great to have some practice sessions with you to get acquainted with the game but dude we really need to play with the best to be the best. All that ass whopping sessions pay out in the long run lols , So how is the game , how is the online,

just watched the trailer on xbox and it looks awesome,could not play because arcade sticks at arcade are just not ready yet,plus owner first wants to jtag his xbox,so have to wait.

plus to be good in kof u have to analyze the frame advantage department yourself,i doubt there will be any info on net about frame advantage strings and what counters what etc,For General Game play,like what anti-airs what kind of jumps i can post a little if anyone wants.
