Is my pc done for ?

Ok so now my old trusty p4 just gets stuck on thr first acer screen and that's it .. Pressing f12 or anything and everything doesn't work I unplug thr main switch turn it on again and it's thr same story over and over again ? So what does this mean and is there a way to solve it somehow ?

some thing might be conflicting try removing each connectors like HDD/CD/DVD try running with one ram

Its not a major problems...i have faced this prolbem billions of times.....just unplug ur date cable of harddisk and cdrom...then check if it stucks or not........if not then u need to adjust ide cable.......IDE cables are always very irritating for me as well...dats y sata rules

Short circuiting.
Happened with me once when I wrongly fixed my mouse.
Saare taar aik doosre se connect kardie the aur PC respond nai karra tha; after restarting, it did not even boot. When I took the mouse keyboard and stuff all out, and using elimination method, only then was I able to correct it.
