Is it safe to download MS's new Update ?

I smell something fishy......first releasing Halo then after two days releasing an Update which comes with nothing new :-(....

So is this a setup to Ban people AGAIN ?

Any news regarding it ? plz share guys or we will be :banned:

There are no new features or changes in this update. This update is preparation for additional system enhancements (Facebook/Twitter/Last.FM) that will arrive later this year.

^ I know this yar e.g. stealth patches,firmwares etc. And one thing , no body would be banned abruptly after updating its console, we all know....MS usually bans after the lapse of 2-3 days like before.If hackers can introduce the firmwares,stealth patch etc then MS can encounter them.

My basic point was to confirm about Ban Hammer, nothing else...and if you don't know SINFUL or has not played live after updating your console then its better that you keep your mouth close.

Ban spree's don't come with a firmware, they happen when you're in the process of PLAYING a game on Live, it disconnects you from live without a warning, takes you back to your dash and displays an error message with a code that signifies that you've been banned from Live. (source)
