Is it GPU or PSU problem? HELP URGENT

Assalamualaikum
As the title says i have a problem that on my screen there are boxes of orange and other colour that appear time to time specially during games i have tested my grpahic card using furmark and tech power up gpu tool it is showing pixel mismatch error i had given my card to one of my friends he has tested it he is saying that with him there is no problem. SO MY QUESTION IS THAT WHETHER IT IS THE PROBLEM OF GPU OR POWER SUPPLY OR MOTHERBOARD? I have not checked the card myself on some other pc but as mentioned earlier it has been checked by my friend. PLEASE ANSWER NEEDEED asap

As i mentioned GPU is working fine on some other computer and as i mentioned that i have tested gpu through GPU tool and FURMARK they are giving pixel mismatch error which has nothing to do with monitor EITHER IT IS GPU OR PSU OR MOTHERBOARD I NEED A REAL EXPERT ADVICE ECAUSE I MY SELF CAN DO OPERATION OF WHOLE COMPUTER AND ALHAMDULILLAH I HAVE LOT OF EXPERIENCE OF TROUBLESHOOTING BOTH HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE SO I NEED A REAL BIG GEEK OF COMPUTER HARDWARE TO ANSWER thanks all

Gpu,s transisstors are being eaten by excessive heat.Go to a techie apply some good white shit(thermal paste) on that chip and after that sale it out it is the best thing you can do! sorry for you man

Again I would like to mention that it is not SIMPLE my friend has checked it on his PC although i dont have any extra psu to check it myself but i rely on his saying that GPU is working fine on his PC. And everything else is working fine on my pc. Again i would like to mention that pixel mismatch error given by a software has nothing to do with GPU according to my common sense. So AGAIN I would like to ask every one of u that what u people think Is my GPU faulty or is it PSU or is it motherboard? PLEASE USE UR PAST EXPERIENCES AND a LITTLE thought process before answering this very very difficult question (Atleast it is for me since i have spent about 20 hrs to find its solution myself (both hardware and software. I HAVE ONE MONITOR problem as well but i will ask it in another thread still i am sure MONITOR HAS NOTHING TO DO with this problem

this could be a GPU problem.....but as u said that its working fine on your friends pc....then what i suggest is that y dont you bring on your friends pc or go to his house.....n play that game on his pc which is givin you such errors......agar game us k pc pay theek chalta hai tumhare GPU k sath....then this means that your GPU is absolutely fine....problem tumhare motherboard main ho sakta hai then...or power supply...

but first confirm by urself, khud wahi game khailo apne friend k pc pay jis main tumhain error milta hai....then post here k what were the results...us k baad we can suggest you... ...

Agar game theek chala tumhare GPU k sath tumhare friend k pc pay, then it means k GPU theek hai tumhara... ...agar game theek nae chala tau ofcourse GPU main error hai.. . ...pehle isko find out karo n post here...then hum step 2 pay move kar sakte hai..

n i strongly suggest you k follow these steps, mis-guidance main aa k fazool main thermal paste na lagwa aana GPU pay ...lawl...her problem ko pehle find out karte hain exactly k wo hai kis cheez main... ...na k predict kar k problem is cheez main hai tau chalo isko ye kar dein tau wo kar dein... ...oper jaisay maine likha...do like that...usse atleast you will come to know that problem actually hai kis main.. ...

Bhai jan i like ur advice but I would like to bring in ur knowledge that solution which u are recommending Like thermal paste etc i have already done all such small and big operations As I am not kid NOW LET ME GO INTO MORE TECHNICAL DETAILS ( AS I AM LOOKING FOR A SPECIALIST TO REPLY TO THIS THREAD) I AM SUSPECTING MY PSU AND GPU BOTH AS IF DUE TO PASSAGE OF TIME DUE TO ANY INTERNAL SHORT CIRCUIT OR OVERLOAD MY CARD MIGHT BE ASKING FOR MORE POWER WHICH MY GOOD 2.5 YRS OLD POWER SUPPLY MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE DUE TO DEGRADATION WITH PASSAGE OF TIME BUT IT MIGHT BE THE CASE THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH ANYONE OF THEM AS THE POWER SUPPLY OF MY FRIENDS COMPUTER IS NEW COOLER MASTER 600W i am trying to get hold of his psu then i will test it with my pc i think that will sort out the problem

Maybe Your Friends PSU And You PSU Have Diiference...!!
Do One Thing..>Swap Power Supplies....!!
But The Issue Mostly Looks Like Of GPU To Me As This Starts To Happen When GPU Is Having Some Issues..!
PSU Can Make A Diff...Try Your Friends PSU On Your PC ..

buddy i think there is no such software that checks the PSU for errors.. may be i'm wrong..
if your friend is saying that your card is perfectly running on his PC, it doesn't means that your Card is 100% OK..(i hope its not the case) because my friend's 9600 GT was behaving exactly like that but was running perfectly fine on my PC (i used it for 10 Days). He even used my PSU to further check it but , in vein.

i think your PSU is just fine... because if GPU is under powered, your PC would freeze/restarts, but its showing strange colors and it means GPU is dying.

Whats your Screen size? may be you are playing games at high Reso and full settings...lower your reso and grahics to medium and check it,

Thanks Yagami i was waiting for a person who had experienced this problem himself to reply i think u might be right but why is it so that a GPU runs fine on one pc whereas on the other pc same GPU causes problem. Did u or ur friend figured out this thing? plz reply

This happened to me with RAM and Hard disk too, where, my ram was giving me beeps on my chip set but was working fine on my friend's PC...
we couldn't figure it out because i was using that card on intel whereas my friend was using AMD.. and each and every chip is different even with the same models and manufacturers..
sale this card before it completely blacks out.. because for now its just showing strange colors, after some days your PC will start crashing because of it (a lot of BSoDs)..

This is how it looks like. According to my research it is due to bad NVRAM and i think not due to any thing else like psu etc please post ur remarks after seeing this pic

See if there's any dust on the VRM's, Clean it up and check again.....
