MULTI Iran releases its First VIdeo Game

Iran has introduced its first domestically-developed videogame called Garshasp in an effort to cut down on Western monopoly over the videogame market.

The videogame, which took four years to complete, features legendary Persian hero Garshasp

Looks pretty decent for a first ever game, the gameplay looks almost identical to darksiders or GOW.

Anyways, it's a really great effort by Iran. I am really impressed by it. I don't remember even an Indian game that looks good like it, the last game that was funded officially by Sony and developed in India was a terrible mess.

why r u guys forgetting that Pakistan also made a proper full fledged video game Cricket Revolutions which is available on steam.what we need is someone else here to do a game which caters to a wider audience.some fun genre like FPS,TPS or racing.

I dont think the developers are going to charge like the western ripoffs. You see it seems to be government sponsored in order to encourage local developers. This is the government's effort to reduce influence of P@rn filled western games on the muslim youth. If their first try is so great, its not hard to imagine them making the best in a couple of years

I'm actually very very impressed, seeing the limited resources and experience iran has in game development, this game really looks good. If this game comes on steam and is priced well i might even buy it to support the developers.
