I have got abt 35k and was wondering wether I should buy the Itouch 32GB 3rd Gen.

So if anyone has used them (or Ipods in general) please give ur opinions.

Also I need to know the following things:

1) How can I get ITunes Store credit?
2) Can I put my songs and vids that I havent bought legally (obviously ) in the Itouch( from my PC) or do I need to buy everything?

3) Whats the format for audio and video in the touch? Do I need to convert to specific formats, if so HOW? which software to use?

Depends on your needs. For some people (like me), its the single best portable device you can carry with you (after iPhone ofcourse). Seamless internet browsing and shitloads of apps for just about anything and everything, gaming capabilities are getting better everyday. You'll be surprised to see how good the games are on it now. You won't regret buying it.

1) How can I get ITunes Store credit?
What do you need that for?
2) Can I put my songs and vids that I havent bought legally (obviously ) in the Itouch( from my PC) or do I need to buy everything?
Yes you can. You don't need to buy anything unless you really want to. Literally every podcast is free as well. And you have a shit load of variety to choose from.
3) Whats the format for audio and video in the touch? Do I need to convert to specific formats, if so HOW? which software to use?
For audio:
Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV

For Video:
H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

Basically anything that QuickTime or iTunes itself can't play, must be converted. Thats not a problem because there are tons of softwares out now to do that for you. You can start googling after you get it.

basically unlock it, allow it to access third party apps that are not meant to be. it voids warranty. can be some issues. but mostly done to iphones but done to ipod touchs as wel.. try at your risk.

jailbreakin iz for iphone :p
You really think you know everything, don't you? Its 'mostly' done on both.

syavash, you can jailbreak your iPod Touch as well. Its basically just installing a custom firmware on the iPod Touch OR iPhone to install paid apps.

Jacker, shush.

Jailbreaking is not necessary, but its fun.

See there was a community of devs who made apps for the iPhone/iTouch BEFORE Apple opened their AppStore. There were some AWESOME applications available. In order to use them, you need to jailbreak. Its SO easy that even I, who had no info about the iPhone, did it just by reading a few pages on the internet :)

Really simple stuff. BUT you should be careful.

Don't worry about that. PM me once you get your iTouch. I'll guide you. You can get a free account there :)

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
