Installing Windows In a Laptop ( I have Original win 7)

My windows is getting slow day by day and Am using original home premium 64bit win 7 Now i want to install new windows fresh installation is there anyway to keep My windows original ? i dont want to loose original windows I dont have recovery cds

yes it is you must have ur CD key in the bottom just download windows 7 home premium x64 from internet and when it is fully installed it will ask u for a key.

you should have created recovery cds when you got the laptop.
Make a backup of your system [save important files, images etc to another hard disk,usb,computer] in-case you mess up things.

1.Now you have to download whatever win7 version you have installed.

1b. burn iso to dvd.

2.Install via dvd.

3.It will ask for activation after first start or After installation right click my computer>properties>activate.
you must be connected to internet to activate.

I tried this on friends laptop and it registered , activated successfully but you must download the win7 version that came with laptop[Important].

also you will lose all pre-installed application that came with Laptop and you have to manually download and install them.

[MENTION=44805]xtremists[/MENTION]! Windows 7 has this habbit of getting bogged down after some time, and no matter what you do (Register Cleaners, Startup Tuneups etc etc) it wont be the same.

At this point, i'd highly recommend moving to Windows 8. You can get a Legit OS free of cost with a simple trick, and i suggest you get it ASAP because the offer will expire at the end of December.

Strictly for your query ... Laptops who have Geniune Windows have the Key written on the Bottom of the Laptop itself. You can use any untouched Win7 ISO and activate it using that key.

you can also install windows 8 and windows 7 from usb no need for dvd burning
