Creating a Server
Creating a server on hamachi will be your best option if you want to play with friends on your own server.

Use the following steps to create a server
1) Download Hamachi:
Download from their website
2) Networks:
Then after you have downloaded hamachi, set a name for your pc and then click on Networks -> Create a New Network.It will be that network through which you and your friends will be playing.
Put the desired username and password in the fields respectively.
Once the network has been created, give this network id and password to you friends on Hamachi, and ask them to join the network by
clicking on Networks -> Join Existing Network
Once they are added in the network, they will be displayed like this,
Offline one with Grey mark and online with Green Mark. It will be displayed like this.
3) Playing:
Download the Hamachi Cod.exe which is required to play on Hamachi.
It's a simple cod4 like .exe file with some tweaks.
Place it in your Cod4 folder.
Then open the Hamachi Cod file and create a new server with your desired match rules/settings.
Once you have created the server, ask your friends to copy your Ip address, by right clicking on your name in Hamachi, and selecting "Copy IPv4 Address" or "Copy Address"
When they have copied your ip address, ask them to run Hamachi Cod and open the console on Main Menu, by pressing ` button
and type connect give a space and then paste your ip address e.g ( connect xxx.xx.xx)
