Slow sensitivity. I play @ 1.
The aim, while camping should be about 1 meter away from the ambush point, so that you can get a kill without missing due to slow reflexes.
Always change position after killing, dont just stand there.
Learn how to shoot flickrs *scope open only for a millisecond then shoot* this will help you kill nearby enemies quickly.
Always buy a HE, so that when you shoot an enemy and it hits him on the legs, he does not die but HP is reduced to 16, quickly throw the HE to bang him off.
Buy a flash and throw it behind you, then ambush when you are sure that the enemy is gonna rush, this way, you will not get flashed but the enemies will be blind for a while!

Sniping is an art...it was not an easy task,specially when you are playing matches.here are few tips for sniping...
As a sniper , always try to stay back ,and cover your team..don't rush with sniper,other wise you will be corpse...Means find a good hiding spot.
Try to use single scope rather than double,and once you miss the shot,then go for scopless, it will definitely give you a kill...but more practice is required..
Your pistol has to be Ready in case if you miss the shot in close range....
Use the quick Switch with the help of 'Q' button after you took the shot...through this you can avoid reloading the sniper...
in the end ....practice as much as you can...That's All

- For Precise Aim Accuracy Never Put the scope to the centre of the Player Watch The movement of the Player and Guess the Distance for a Perfect Headshot.
- Provide Cover for ur Team Mates as much as u can Stay with the Assaulter as he is one who Infiltrate the opponents Den.

2. Practice, no matter what the map, big or small, you have to stick with your sniper rifle
3. Patience, Once you fire that gun the element of surprise you might had is gone so its better to have a good shot than a hard moving target, If you are covering an area you are covering an area, you don't go around hopping around the map like assault players looking for cheap frags

In COD:WAW the best way to get a couple of kills thru sniping is to pick a good vantage point, set up bouncing betties (mines) at the entrance. Keep a submachine gun as a secondary weapon and snipe away. But remember to change your position after a few kills because the killed players will be coming for you pretty soon. Other than that its just aim, pull the trigger and wait for the sweet sound of a head popping.

1 yeah i know evry1 mentioned but it does rquire lots of practice.
2 wid a sniper rifle u must also know the use of a sidearm bcoz when run out of ammo or cant use a sniper widout
the scope thn a sidearm is the best chioce.
3 always execute one shot one kills by hitting the head.
4 always use the sniper rifle which u think is the most suitable for u.i for myself used the dragnov svd semi-automatic in cod 4.
5 and yaeh dont get killed by the other team's sniper.:wink2:

1st Practice More Practice
2nd Good listening skill, foot steps in CS
3rd try change ur place after a shot and toggle the gun quickly during jump
4th Try to cover you body with any thing or try to be in dark from where u can easy saw from view finder but your enemy need time to recognize you and that time is enough to blow his head off ..
and always buy an eagle with sniper
