Various colors are used to make it easy to fill in the colors later on. In the anime world, many assistants are paid per sheet that they fill in. The amount paid for each sheet is not exactly going to buy you a Nissan GTR but in the words of the Production IG boss - he says stick with this position for 3 years and you will be on the path to being a superstar.
He also said that many foreigners who start out with this job tend not to last long. Stick with it and it will be worth it in the long run - does not matter whether you are Japanese or not.
Wow .. Sticking to the job is fruitful .. btw why are they so much talking about Nissan GTR? Is that vehicle that much expensive?

I know, shocking!

Impressive. I wanna learn this too :(.
Keep dreaming! I just can't stress on how much practise and dedication we need for this, so this is impossible for us.

It must be!
you'll be surprised how much they're paid ...
Implying that they get money for it! With so many pirates around, I don't think that they get paid that much.
Most of the money they get is, I think used for the studio's expenses and spent in the research and development of the next project.

I'm still dreaming when i was 15. First of we need motivation and appreciation from public for this. And you know what most of our public we have if we came up with this first time here and ready to hear these comments "Yeh kaira bachoo di tusweer banaya hosi, tainu bachoo walaa dimagh hosi, laanut tujh pay wudi" Even these public gave me these exact comments when i was start telling what is gaming.

umm they do. the Blu Ray releases they have gett sold out immediately. case in point. KnK, K-ON.

within Japan anime piracy isn't a big problem. its outside Japan that hurts them but even then in US when BD's are released they get sold out.
don't blame people in other countries. they have to wait like an eternity to have it released locally. e.g. Australia.
and even then people do buy it. I suppose it can be classified in 3 categories.
1. People who are fanatics. spending all on anime.
2. People who buy what they like
3. People who are really picky. Only buying the best that is their

Exactly, no one would support us if we pursue a career like this. I would also like to work in the anime industry, but it is impossible. Since I cannot go abroad, so I am dropping this idea. And I don't have a steady hand so I can't ever become an artist/

Okay I agree that Blu-Rays get sold out, but aren't the ones that get sold the most only the ones that are the most famous like K-On, KnK and so on...?
Wow... Japanese animators are paid pretty less. No wonder, they are angry.
Oh and I agree that their sales are less in foreign countries... because most of the people illegally download the anime just like us, but we have genuine reasons to watch anime by downloading.

Dont give up the hope what you like. Nobody knows about the tomorrow. Miraculously you'll get chance to work with them. I saw my friend who were not in those condition which was totally impossible for them and after some years they are happy with there jobs here as well.

There are no excuses what ever you like. Just give it a try once. Even though i'm trying these stuff.

True, I agree with what you are saying. But... no one would approve of me trying to work hard so that I go in the anime industry. Plus "Graphics Tablets" are very, very expensive and my hands aren't steady so... I will think about this in the future.

Thanks.
At first I always thought that all the work they did was digital, meaning all the animators used graphics tablet to make some drawings and then animate them. But after I saw this, I have to say, making anime is one of the hardest labours done. Dedication, motivation and perfection, it's a package of all three.

^^ me too I always thought that something like this was used to create anime but it was the opposite.
Exactly what I thought all along. I thought that they all relied on wacom tablets for everything, but in all actuality it was all done in the traditional way - on the paper, the age-old invention by humankind.
