I am sorry but how did you come upon the notion that some nations are more perverted than others? Also have you ever heard about the term 'human rights'? I don't agree with displaying affections in public and I believe that it must be kept to a minimum and I will give that to you and to the OP. I also agree that the level of public affection that OP talks about is definitely wrong. However, the statement that gay rights are only awarded in perverted nations is a concept that I find appalling. How about the fact that Pakistani's searched for the term 'sex' the most in 2011? Are you still sure that other nations are more perverted than ours? In any event categorizing a nation as 'perverted' is both irrational and a generalization.

Also I don't see why so many people on here are against gay people. I mean sure I probably don't want to see them making out in public and stuff, but it's their business and they have the freedom of choice and the freedom of expression to do as they please.

And please don't even get me started on our cultural norms. We suffer from one of the backwards and most premature cultural norms ever. At least nowadays anyway. Maybe until a certain course in our history we had something to be proud of but now all that passes for our cultural norms are atrocities that weren't existent even in the time of the cavemen.
