hi guys, m going to apply BSEL mod to my processor E5200. i have a spare DG33FB mobo, so m going to put the BSELd processor in it.

I tried to find the conductive pen that is required to perform that mod, but i failed. does any other items can b used to perform this modding.

Also does DG33FB will support the BSEL mod, as some motherboard identify the CPU by mircocode or by any other means.

I m going to increase the 200FSB of E5200 upto 266 by BSEL Mod. kindly provide support in this regard.

last time i remember the g/p/33 chipset has only few motherboards dat support the bsel mod even the notorious p5k-vm doesnt support the bsel mod the asus p5kpl-vm doesnt support bsel either....the dg31pr supports bsel and so do the p35 line of motherboards...intels each and every motherboard on the g31 lineup supports bsel! the best solution to make bsel is to lookout for the following things:

Asus motherboards in the g31 and g33 lineup are notorious for not accepting bsel mods
Gigabyte mobos dont accept the bsel throughout their lineup
Intel motherboards in the 31 series actually have full support for bsel mod
the P5kvm does not support bsel mod due to it being based on the g33

Go with dg31pr its a guaranteed tiny winner that will make u a very happy man and dont forget to volt mod the e5200 it likes being fed volts if u intend 4ghz territory for it!
