Help needed to buy new Speakers!!!

I need to buy new Speakers for PC, my range is 3000-4000...
Need some powerful speaker for gaming and good movie experience...:wink2:

I got Creative 5.1 t1600 speakers. the price is 5800, 1800+ then ur current budget. But the sound quality of these speakers are awesome.

i would say creative inspire 4.1
using since 2.5 yrs with my audigy 2 zs card
sound awesome uptill now.
its sound quality is equal to my NEW PANASONIC HOME THEATRE>
and the loudness is way too much to be heard at full.
u can save money and get 4.1 or addd more to get a 5.1
but believe me stick to creative.

If you want edifire then gor for M1500 or M1550 for a 5.1.
Good 2.1 are a little more expensive than the 5.1.
I have an Edifier M1550 and its still working perfectly and has got some real nice bass.

Which are better edifier or creative in terms of bass quality?
i have 8 channel builtin sound card will it make any difference?

Satellite is another name for the speakers, which are connected to subwoofer and give sound from multiples sources.

Creative. edifier is just ok, but creative is good!!!

no, it doesn't. unless you put in new sound card, then the difference becomes obvious. you can connect 7.1 systems to this sound card.

I cant agree to that
creative have the best clarity + bass+sound quality among all other similar priced brands.

the advantage of creative 4.1 is that u can easily connect to any bulitin sound card with just one jack.(although 2 are recommended)

2nd advantage is that u can connect it to any portable device easily(psp,mp3 played ,ipod)
3rd advantage . take it to ur car. give it 12v (buy converter seperately) to speakers. plug in any mp3 player and u rock on the go.

with 5.1 u have to connect all 3 jacks.(u cant connect all to any portable device)(and using connectors to fit all 3 jacks in 1 reduce the sound quality)

if u have a creative sound card then u can manage many bass settings.
1. bass control from the back of the subwoofer.
2. incresed bass from the audio effects (eg. pop,rock,bass,heavy bass)
3. there is a seperate bass boost option with cuttoff frequecy(for even more control)

2nd and 3rd option are only liable to creative sound cards.
i normally set equalizer to pop. turn off bass boost and subwoofer bass control to 60%

i can bet that my 4.1 can easily match even the expensive systems out there.
i have compared my system to my friend 5.1 polk audio system he got from america. ( and i was better, he accepted it but he always said that its due to his builtin sound card).

Coz i want to have powerful sound for my Gaming and ofcourse MOVIES to have a theatre feel good bass and sound quality. :wink2:
And by the way i got 8 channel Realtech HD audio built in card...

well considering the price i would say 5.1(will give u ideal home theatre experience.) and movie effects.
but the 4.1 got better SNR.(but soo little wont matter).

Edifier is not just okay... They are expensive than Creative but also the sound quality is better. The more expensive ones, are housed in wooden enclosure, the speakers.

In your budget:
SBS A-500 @ 3,500rs - Will serve your needs well !

But if you can increase your budget, I'd say get the T6100 @ 5,200rs. Recommended !

Dear i can tell u perfectly .. coz i Hav both Creative 4400 (4.1) and altec lancing fx6021 (2.1) .. and in my openion Altec is a winner !! its bass quality and loudness is soo awesomee in comparision of Creative 4.1i , Altec has a Big and Punch sound Subwoofer as compare to Creative .. . well creative is also good .. i had bought creative since 2 years aGo .. nd its working til now .

if u can arrange some more money .. then i recomand 4 u that Go with >> ALTEC LANCING .. and i think ur thinking creative has 4 speaKer so it has more power .. but dude Altec Lancing FX6021 haz 2Chanel sticK (8speaker in 1 Chanel)

DUde the altec lansing u got r digital speakers. . for deir comparison creative got I-TRIGUE series, but they r very expensive. Actually creative have offered us a wide variety of speakers to choose of our choice and budget. dats a good thing.

to sum UP- At the given price range by u, creative is the best option u got.

ACTUALLY i know what u are thinking. the polk audio systems are usually large hefty,pricey and awesome systems.
but what i am talking about is 5.1 home theatre system . that is meant to be used with computer. (very similar design to creative inspire 5.1).
so it was not that huge expensive ones.

And by digital speakers i meant something like these.
