Salam,As of today during a gaming session my computer randomly turned off and then immediately turned on. I thought the power went out and immediately came back on so i decided to turn on my computer and play the game again. Once again within seconds my computer turned off prior to the game loading. I repeated the steps again and then thought maybe the cpu is overheating because i hadnt cleaned in ages. I took my computer out, cleaned it up, re applied the thermal paste and turned on my computer again. I had no video signal. I took out my case, checked my gpu and it was working, lights on, fan not working but that was normal since the asus 1070 doesnt turn on the fans till a gaming session. I then switched my hdmi while keeping my gpu intact to onboard and it showed me the display. I tried everything, disabled on board graphics, reset bios, changed the auto boot to only PCI, everything i knew i tried it but no luck.My specs; I7 3770,16gb ramAsus ROG STRIX 1070Gigabyte UDh3 something.625 watt corsair psu (3 yrs old)Funny thing, i pulled out the 8 pin connector and left the gpu connected and it still was doing the same thing. No beeps, nothing. The lights were on, no video signals. Is it possible that the 8 pin connector is broken or is it a faulty gpu? I never experienced artifacts or shut downs before with this gpu. I cant even detect my gpu even though its installed. It lets me use on board with the gpu still installed even. Please help, i dont want to send in for warranty since its an international one.
